MM had this spot on in the year we went up - Keogh, Vokes & Iwelumo a could all play alongside SEB and bring something to the table.
I thought big Chris was exactly what was needed in that league. Bags of experience, fan favorite, knew where the goal was, put himself about and could defend...
Each week we bring you our latest chart of the managers under pressure, and those on Easy Street. Here's Sportsmail's sack-race rankings - otherwise known as the Firing Line...

I hate this Greed League so much. It is so bent, so unfair in every way. Unless and until UEFA, the UK government or someone else sorts it out, I feel the Championship is a more sporting and fun place to be.
It has ruined Football as a sport. Most games are decided on the basis of refereeing...
It ain't so bad. Somebody has to play there. Cheaper seats, a few quaint old grounds to visit. Plenty of leg room at Molinuex, etc.
And, we'll win a few games.
We've had four attempts at Premiership level and have proved we can't cut it.
Quite why teams like Stoke, Swansea, Norwich etc are...
Now that i have resigned myself to going down i have been thinking about the championship and quite looking forward to it.
1, Regular 3 pm kick offs on Saturdays.
2, Alot of big games in the league, with Charlton, and Sheffield teams also likely to be there aswell.
3, Proper tackles aloud...
$$$$ the Premier League, it's $$$$ and corrupt anyway.
Leeds, Forest, Derby, Cardiff, Blues and maybe West Ham, Sheffield Wednesday and United, Charlton, Millwall, Brighton, Burnley, Ipswich, Leicester, Middlesbrough and Blackpool!
Can't wait.
WE'LL NEVER DIE.
Anyone in particular you're looking forward to coming up from league 1 or staying down in the champ?
Nottingham, Leicester, Peterborough, Stevenage - all within a short drive/train ride. Brighton as night out is hopefully as good as it used to be at the likes of Honey Club and Digital. Reading...
OK. So it's fairly obvious to everybody bar the truly optimistic/deluded that we're now dead and buried with only 10 more nails to be hammered home.
As it stand with out bringing any players in...

Might as well right this season off and start building for the next one.
Always felt confident last season cos we were always in games, different story now.
So, lets not waste anytime and risk being mid table championship this time next year, start building now to make sure we come back...
Who do people think will come up from League 1 then?
I've been paying attention to the Chump all season but think I'm gonna pay even more attention to it now.
I fancy Charlton, Sheff U and Sheff Weds to come up personally. Decent trips there.
Vokes just scored for Burnley - simple header at near post
His last 5 league goals have come with 5 different clubs!!
Kightly lively for Watford
Hope noone misunderstood my header :D
Would we (or rather could we) accept that?
To be a part of the Greed League may take greed itself and the insane salary demands gets passed on to us. Attendances are down and many see the product as unworthy and are not willing to pay what is necessary. They would rather spend their money on...
Hardly a surprise we were so poor when 8 members of the championship squad started the game yesterday is it. With 2 others on the bench and SEB and Edwards still to come back, Keogh still at the club there lies the problem. QPR have refreshed their squad more than us and it's there 1st season...
I'm really intrigued to know who everyone thinks will come up next season. I've usually got an opinion but this year it really looks like the division from hell! I'm really praying we never go back down there!
For me, Football Manager, and its Championship Manager is not a game, it’s more of a way of life. Wolves are always an interesting team on it, full of good players yet underperform when managed by the computer. Here is a rundown of my all-time Wolves CM/FM XI. I’ve gone for my...
With Swansea V Notts Forest and Cardiff V Reading who do you think will win the play offs? My choice is Forest, They play good football, Keep the ball well and move it about the pitch quickly. If we do manage to stay up and they miss out then I would definately be hoping we make a bid for a...
