Ive just heard from a close friend that Ron has just passed away. RIP Ron.
Me to Elvis Wolf, a book I have always treasured,One of my first Wolves heroes.
Bought his book 'For Wolves and England' ,
when it was originally published.
A true legend.

Yep me too. I was 7, still remember bring introduced to him, I was in awe. RIPOh no not another great Wolves and England 66 Legend gone
I bought my first pair of football boots from his shop in Queens St Wolverhampton. He gave me the guidance on choosing them..

Just found out . what a wonderful human being big Ron was used to get all my kit from his shop in Wolverhampton and when I played in Australia when I wanted boots socks he would also send them out to me .he was not only a great Player for our beloved wolves he played for his county with pride rest in peace big Ron a true gentleman and a credit to Wolverhampton wanderers condolences to his family and especially Glenn Ron's son .xVery sad. Bought a couple of Wolves shirts from him, from his shop at the Bucks Head, Telford when I was about 7,8,9. Delighted to have met him, although I never saw him play.
