Nice bloke, not a proven manager. Perhaps after he's guided Gillingham from League 2 to the Championship playing nice possession football

I expect only one result from this poll and indeed as Terry's appointment was temporary and based on his ability to save us from relegation at the end of this season I expect that he will not be in charge next season. I note someone has said in another thread that Terry has now a worse record than Mick in terms of most consecutive defeats in the Premiership. Am I correct in thinking that these were suffered by Mick after he took over at Sunderland? If so he succeeded in getting the team back into the Premiership within two seasons. Who is to say that Terry if he moves onto another club at the end of this season as manager is not capable of similar success?

Relieved now to see votes to remove Connor. i was nervous when I saw Bahama and Bingbong voted for him. Surprised at Bahama. I dont know of Bingbong but with that user name and voting for McConnorthy I am wondering if he is a baggies fan.

Anyone voting TC is either a troll, a baggies fan or TC himself.

Didn't realise we had so many baggies on this board. At least 4 so far!

As people are not voting on this poll seriously thought i would post this from the article under TC's "i've improved my chance of getting the job interview":-

"Okay, a statistical breakdown.
Posts reacting against the continuing reign of Terry Connor as manager: 145 out of 148
Posts reacting in favour of the continuing reign of Terry Connor as manager: 3 out of 148 and one of those was someone being sarcastic.
If we are an indicative cross-section of the Wolves fan-base, and as Express And Star readers we probably are, then, discounting the man who was being sarcastic, that means:
In favour of TC staying on: 1.36%
In favour of TC slinging his hook: 98.64%
And I’m afraid, Mr Moxey and Sir Morgan, that those are figures that you simply cannot ignore, even if they are “just the fans.”

I voted yes to take the $$$$ out of this stupid poll.

I had to check to see if NorthNorfolkWolf had started it, so he could post in 3 months time and give us some fascinating insight about the removal of Connor along the lines of he had 'told us so'.

We need to secure the services of one of the latest crop of talented "track-suited" managers. No offence to TC but his role was always going to be a holding position until the season's end.

Well I hope you realise what you have just done. Moxey will see this post and now presume the 99.1% voting for TC out are only doing this to take the $$$$ and really want him.:goodnight:

I'd rather him than Megson :) I can see us employing him in place of TC...Come on, Wolves, foreign manager, OGS - no chance

Can't believe some people put Yes. Maybe they have fat fingers and pressed the wrong button by mistake.......

If that's your feelings on Megson mate then fair enough. I'd take Megson over Connor for me.

But Megson, Connor and OGS are not the only options are they?

Hmm............it could be that the ever devious Moxey is hanging Clipboard out to dry, so we'll accept Megson.

It's getting worse, I'm seeing plots and sub-plots at every turn...........I'll be glad when this seasons over.

We all know the $$$$ing obvious.

Judging by the debacle following the sacking of Mick, I think it is safe to assume that the senior hierarchy of the club are pretty thick when it comes to the footballing nous side of things.

This poll is for them.

Putting opinions into numbers and not assumptions.

Absolutely not!

He can stay on the coaching staff if he is considered 'up to it.'

We need freshening up, it won't happen with the 'same old same old'...we need a new team to come in and re-evaluate everything, particularly the suitability of the playing staff it terms of PL compatibility.

I dont even think he should be kept at the club. He is half the reason the club is in this situation and he should have been removed with Mick.

Mick was like the head of a wart on your a$$, and TC was the root of it. To get rid of that problem, both parts need to be removed, especially the root.

I don't see how he can. Just like how there was no way Mick could have stayed on after losing 5-1 to WBA.

For me, I don't even want him at the club anymore. There is something rotten at this football club at the minute, and a lot of things should, in my opinion, change before the new season starts.

We need a major rethink with regards to coaching set up. We need a system in place that doesn't rely on just 3 coaches. We need (again in my opinion) a strong manager who knows how to get the best out of the players he has, and knows how to motivate them. We need an assistant, who can motivate the players and to help the new manager get his ideas over to the players on the training ground. This is something I think Paul Ince (as much as the bloke grinds my gears) could excel at.

We need a specialised coach for defenders to get them playing as a coherent unit. We need a specialised coach for the attacking midfielders and strikers to teach them firstly, not to be afraid of shooting and secondly how to get it on target. We also need to play the same system the first team used throughout the entire club, this way if we need to call upon a youngster he can come into the first team and feel at home with the way we play.
