Strange that I should be dropping this into the well after all the worries we've had about the defence and/or whether it was being sufficiently well enough protected by the midfield.
It's still early but I...
Don't know whether this warrents a new thread, but 'if' and I suspect he probably will, Fletcher eventually goes, are Sig, Seb, Doyle, and Nouble a potent enough collection of strikers to get us up. I'm not sure.
A couple of weeks back against Derby every player on West Ham's bench was a striker, and they've just added more to their ranks in the transfer window. These are the strikers in the first team squad:
Sam Baldock
Carlton Cole
John Carew
Freddie Sears
Frank Nouble
Brian Montenegro
Ricardo Vaz...

I think we all knew that about Keogh but Griffiths is a bit of a surprise.
Never really had a chance here & now it looks like a waste of money really.
Glad...
Sunderland have now lost Gyan and Welbeck for the rest of the season through the hamstring injuries picked up on Saturday.
Would be good news for us if they weren't away at West Ham on the last day.
Looking at the doom and gloom in the news about Sylvain, Fletcher and Doyle.....I was wondering who we would play if they were all unfit come the Fulham game. We currently have Ward as our only fit striker, so who will come in?
Vokes - Match fit and playing well in the Championship
Griffiths -...
"We didn't sit on our backsides and do nothing through the window. We actually made bids on 29 strikers in January to take on loan." - West Brom sporting and technical director Dan Ashworth.
I bet Carlos Vela is flattered to know that he was wanted....after bids for 28 other players were...
Above is a tough decision for Mick in my eyes.
SEB and Fletcher seem to be building a very strong partnership.
SEB has the attributes to cause some major damage to Premiership defences. He's quick and powerful and has shown he 'can' finish.
In my eyes it would be harsh dropping him...
On WOW, they are happily talking about 4 hungry strikers pushing for 2 slots...

Doyle, Fletcher, SEB & Vokes...
No mention in the article at all of Keogh.
I know MM explained his absence last night, but the article doesn't even...
The Molineux outfit are the leading scorers in the Championship so far this term - with Sylvan Ebanks-Blake's 24 goals looking enough for him to retain his golden boot award, while Chris Iwelumo (14), Sam Vokes (5) and Andy Keogh (3) have also found the net...
We have 4 strikers.
Keogh - works his butt off - but no goal instinct
Iwelumo - bang off form. Can't buy a goal at mo.
SEB - Championship leading scorer
Vokes - in terms of goals per minute on the pitch, probably EUROPE'S leading scorer
You choose.
Bit of a no-brainer, what?
