I think there's been a bit of an over-correction on his part. He was sublime going forward but a bit dodgy defensively. I think he's now tightened his game but at the cost of his attacking threat. When he finds that balance he's gonna be a top top player; at least as good as anything we've got including Kilman, Neves, Neto, Raul & co.
If those are all percentiles for PL defenders, then that’s absolutely ridiculous. Some of the pure numbers are influenced by our play style, but things like his tackle success rate are what they are, which is incredible. He’s 20.
The percentiles showcased are measured against all fullbacks/wingbacks from the top 5 European leagues this season. So even better!

I had just the best afternoon. Our window cleaner turned up and he came in for a coffee and he got talking about football and that he was a Utd fan (funny old thing!) Said he went across to the Wolves game and ranted on a bit. He had no idea I was a Wolves fan so when I described the Moutinho goal he was dumbstruck. I then took him into my study with all the pics and banners. He drank his coffee and left. I just had the greatest fun. God, I hate Utd!

Yes think the old stereotype that ait nouri is the attacking option and marcal is the solid defensive option is a bit outdated. He’s been excellent - I wouldn’t be in too much of a rush to bring Jonny back in at the moment he’s been so good.
