Bloody hell, only him, Doc and Coady left...This is Romain's debut on 17 September 2016 in a 2–0 win at Newcastle. Paul Lambert was in charge.
Our starting line up: Ikeme, Batth, CBJ, Doherty, Iorfa, Saiss, Edwards, Oniangue, Texeira, Costa, Bod.
Bench: Lonergan, Hause, Coady, Saville, Cavaleiro, Gladon, Mason.
To be fair though any manager other than Shamberk was likely to get decent results from Saiss..Been brilliant.

Yup. He no longer gets the obligatory yellow card every game either...Was my MOTM against Leicester. He's really grown into his role over the last few months- even cutting out giving away dangerous free kicks that had me tearing my hair out.
How many people would have had Saiss in as a first choice centre-back at the start of the season?!
He's been superb there.
I didn't even believe the chap would make the step up form the championship in all honesty
Not me (at the time).............but he's really made me eat my words. I thought although he was technically gifted, he was too slow, temperamental and error-strewn. Proven me wrong on each score. How many people would have had Saiss in as a first choice centre-back at the start of the season?!
He's been superb there.
Think Zenga signed him, 3m.What was he £2m??
Absolute stealThink Zenga signed him, 3m.
And Zenga would have kept us up easily. We did not need Lambert, we probably would have done even better. He held us back I believe.Absolute steal
Debating the respective managerial abilities of Zenga and Lambert really does feel like two bald men arguing over a comb. While not quite Deanesque bad they were both ****!And Zenga would have kept us up easily. We did not need Lambert, we probably would have done even better.
Oh and yes, I am possibly taking the P.
Only 18 months left on his contract. Time for a new deal?
SSN yellow ticker: "Saiss future at Wolves in doubt".Only 18 months left on his contract. Time for a new deal?
Superb again tonight. He won’t win it but for me, he’s in the conversation for Player of the Year so far.
Agree, for me PotS is Traore or Rui though.Superb again tonight. He won’t win it but for me, he’s in the conversation for Player of the Year so far.
He always had a wreckless few seconds in him but seems to have sorted that out. Solid and dependable. What a guySuperb again tonight. He won’t win it but for me, he’s in the conversation for Player of the Year so far.
