Chelsea have sold their allocation of 4,600 tickets.

That must mean the Steve Bull Lower, The NE Quadrant, and a strip of seats in the North Bank?

I'll regret saying this but it seems to me that the queuing system for the online sales lets you start queuing whenever you like. I wouldn't even be surprised to find you could pick a ticket at 8:40 and just wait until 9am to complete the sale. If you log on at 9am I bet there will be 2000 in the queue.

Didn't the website used to have like a plan so you could pick the exact seat?
And will I be surrounded by hospitality people who have paid £78? Seems wierd.

I've been to 15 league games this season (including Newcastle away) and both FA Cup ties whilst living in London, bit harsh to consider those coming up for the Chelsea game just for the glory.

Chelsea will be the first home game of the season for me. Bore off.

Hmmm, logged on before 8am and stayed waiting.... then at 9am when it goes live it says there's over 2000 people ahead of me in the queue!

Not moaning though. Great to hear our support is still out there. Wouldn't it be wonderful if our flickers of promise on the field, our generation of youngsters, our rich new owners, our dormant support, our new ticketing strategies could all coincide next season? Fingers crossed.

Addenda - the Chelsea game was put on at about 9.05............a few minutes panic there!! Phew.

These will be gone by 10am at this rate. I saw people standing outside the ticket office at 5.30 in the snow, that was probably up to 100 by 7.30. With phoning in out of the question (all lines busy at 10 seconds past 9!) and thousands in the queue they'll be like gold dust

Just for future reference I tried to log in at 8.50 and it said 'event hasn't started yet' (how big must we be that selling tickets is an event?!). At 9am it logged me in automatically at 80 in the queue. It took until about 9.10 before the option for Chelsea actually appeared after a lot of swearing and F5 though!
