Great save Young.
I'm doing a Klopp. If I didn't see it then it doesn't count. They've equalised while the stream was down. Dirty trick.
1-1
No, but Roy-Keane has played a few matches for their first team. Not sure about the others. They won it last year, walloping Leicester in the final.*Was that Stellenbosch 1st team?
Ironically, that what the Swiss are good at.FT: 0-0 England finish top of the group, Swiss finish second.
Chiwome had one effort, cutting back behind a defender and trying to curl it in to the corner but it was too close to the gk. He's worked hard in all three matches, but I'm hoping for more end product in the knockout stage. No idea who England play or when. Swiss unlucky not to win, but hard cheese.
Whatever happens in the future, great performance.Rounds off a great season for the Academy teams. Hopefully see some around the first team preseason and maybe some successful loan spells… remember though only 1% make it to the top level
It is u21s but we took u19s. Everton who we beat first game had a squad of largely u18sNext Gen Cup - Wikipedia

*Last year's looks strange, as there were two finals. Maybe no overall final because of Coronavirus or something.
EDIT: It also says it's a U21 tournament, when I thought it was U19.
Really had to dig deep in 33 degrees. Very difficult to play any other way which left Fraser very isolated, but he did his job as did all the others. Their scorer Van Wijk is 21.5 years old, easily older than any of our lads.wonderful result for the lads and is a testimony to their stamina and strength of character in that heat.although the south africans looked technically better we were certainly more than a match for them and then to hold their nerve and not miss in the penalty shoot out was exemplary.very well done to James Collins and all staff and of course the players
