How many times in a match do we see players in these positions but either don't shoot, push sideways or shoot over the bar. If I was a coach I'd have players practicing these long range bending shots every day.

I think that's where the clear distinction between elite coaching and elite management comes into play. Graham Potter case in point, excellent coach but managing the egos of the world's best is a different story, being able to squeeze the best out of them. Mourinho was so good at it. Ancelotti from years and years of experience is too.

That's the problem PSG had and they've started to move away from it and move towards more of a younger and more balanced team.
