Wowsers.
They've had a couple of chances this half, but have been shocking in defence.

Luton look knackered. Nothing left in them and you can see it in their recovery runs

Rob Edwards is so far out of his depth in the Premier League.

It's been so frustrating watching them in recent weeks as I want them to stay up.

Something changed a month or two back with the way they play and it's ridiculous the way they defend.

That. Bournemouth striker looks absolutely hopeless to me.

Semenyo and solanke on other hand are class

Premier League history!

This sort of comeback RARELY happens in the top flight
This would be only the FIFTH time a side has come from three goals down to win in the Premier League, and the first since 2003/04!
Other occasions...
  • Leeds 4-3 Derby - 1997/98
  • West Ham 3-4 Wimbledon - 1998/99
  • Tottenham 3-5 Man Utd - 2001/02
  • Wolves 4-3 Leicester - 2003/04

Edwards getting pelters for not making defensive midfield changes for attackers at half time. Handed the game on a plate to Bournemouth and should be sacked as a result.

Well, understandable under the circumstances, but gives zero respect to him or the team for being 3-0 at HT…

How can a manager lift his players after a second half like that. That 45 minutes could finish Luton Town off regarding staying up. It will take some doing to get them prepared for the Nottingham Forest game.

They looked absolutely knackered by the time the equaliser went in, and totally had the stuffing knocked out of them by the end.

Oh my goodness Riquelme what a miss.

Great chance to end it in added time, blew it over the bar. Extra time it is!

De Jong almost tied it up and did the same thing, blew it over, then Reus comes down and puts the final nail in the coffin.

CL delivering today!

Luton remind me so much of Blackpool in 2010/11 - A real breath of fresh air, and all their games seem to be fun to watch. But ultimately they concede too many goals and will go down.

Give me them over the likes of ****ing Norwich, WBA, Sheff Utd and Burnley yo-yo'in every day of the week.

Just shows how special that game against Leicester was. Loved that match. Can't believe it was 20 seasons ago!

Rob Edward’s said he took the blame for the second half collapse, but surely players must bear the main responsibility. If you can’t defend a 3 goal advantage, then there is something very wrong.

While the main focus has been on Luton throwing away a 3 goal lead, praise must be given to Bournemouth, they were a different team in the second half and as soon as they pulled a goal back all the momentum was with them. They played very well in the second half.

Couple of half time subs probably helped too - which Luton didn’t react to.

Solanke and Semeyo would be at the top of my summer list.
Thought Semenyo was good throughout and Solanke's goal the catalyst for the comeback. Also watched Scott to see what we missed and frankly, in that 45 mins, very little.

As others have said, Luton look down and out, however Edwards really needs to get their heads back up as not only Forest at the weekend, but 2 teams could still get points deductions, which could yet save Luton.

Last night's game was described by the commentator as a 'great game for the neutral', but is anyone watching Prem matches ever truly 'neutral'?
I watched, with no affiliation to either club, but hoping Luton could get the points to put pressure on Forest and Everton.
Everton, Forest, Burnley and Sheff fans would have watched hoping for a Bournemouth win to keep Luton down there.
South Coats clubs will have been rooting for Luton.
Etc....
I think commentators think all supporters who aren't fans of the two clubs in action will be 'neutral' and just want to watch an exciting match, whereas the truth is somewhat different.

Really small squad, and quite a few key injuries, it’s tough for them.

Edwards has done an amazing job to have them still in touching distance of safety
