Very exciting and like I said in the summer and before lage got sacked when people said we had no money to spend, the club was always going to open the cheque book in a very significant way to ensure we stay up!

He is a major talent and has the tools and attributes to link with the lads too in a way we just haven’t seen in the final third all season so far.

Who is actually prolific you can buy though? Apart from the elite players.

If it is some prolific it'd be from a "lower standard" league which would get the response of oh he won't be good enough the Premier.

I'd still like a proper proven number nine as well, but if this is a loan with an option, it's a win-win for us really.

You may be correct, I think I'm mixing it up with Man United trying to buy him for £50m in the summer. It's still an amazing signing for a club that's at the bottom of the Premier League. That's the pull of Julen!

Yeah I know he’s been highly rated, but having not really seen him play myself and only stats to go from… it just worries me if that’s the forward we’re expecting to fire us to safety. If we get him AND someone with a decent track record of putting the ball in the net, then sure.

No idea about this, but looks like he's not a CF, and we need someone to score 15 crappy goals in the rest of this season, not 2 amazing ones. Attackers who are not goal scoreres seems to be our specialism. So much as I'm always in the gerrimin camp, maybe save our money for a goal scorer?
