Me and my mate Glynn used to stand with Paul and his Mrs half way down the South Bank for 2/3 seasons up to I guess 84 and he was Wolves through and through. Never saw him take his top off. A true gentleman although he did like to jump the fence from time to time. Believe he went away with Wolves and Shed Weds turned up as their game cancelled and the rest is history. While on Grego does anyone remember Miller from those days ? Big bloke , boiler suite as used to come straight from work. 3 pies and 3 pints of mild before kick off, a true gentleman and a great characterI think we are well rid of him from the above.
I think that may have been Barnsley away when Sheff Wed fans came to our game as there's was postponed.Me and my mate Glynn used to stand with Paul and his Mrs half way down the South Bank for 2/3 seasons up to I guess 84 and he was Wolves through and through. Not sure about that mate , you could be right.Didn't one of his mates get badly hurt in a crush or something, a Sheffield Wednesday fan, so he switched to Wednesday to take his mate to the games?
Cheers for reply Reans if I may call you that. He was a very special supporter which as we get older less people can understand. Bet he still looks the Wolves score up every game though.I think that may have been Barnsley away when Sheff Wed fans came to our game as there's was postponed.
I don't get what sort of person could just swap teams like that though??
No worries at all, everyone here calls me Reans.Cheers for reply Reans if I may call you that. He was a very special supporter which as we get older less people can understand. Bet he still looks the Wolves score up every game though.
Not sure if he was hurt in a crush but he does care for a disabled mate.....Not sure about that mate , you could be right.
Anyway, who gives a **** about that piece of blubby ****.
He doe have enough pedigree to be a Wolves fan.
Call him what you wish reans, but for me he was a bit of a character just like "Zigger Zagger" on the Boothen End at Stoke City.
These days, there's few (if any) stand out characters on the football terraces.
Used to be loads down the Wolves was part of the day out listening to these people. Wolvo must have been (not sure if still is) one of the most eccentric places to visit with the Tatton Sykes , George and the Exchange.Call him what you wish reans, but for me he was a bit of a character just like "Zigger Zagger" on the Boothen End at Stoke City.

Yeah fair enough, that comment was said in jest months ago (November 2016).Call him what you wish reans, but for me he was a bit of a character just like "Zigger Zagger" on the Boothen End at Stoke City.

Says it all what a fraud! He was a wolves fan and got banned for taking his top off every game. He couldn't bring himself to support a rival and adopted Wednesday had the closest big team he could support

A Jock, he's got a Rangers tattoo next to his Owls and England ones.Just a thought if England fail to qualify for the next Euros will he become a Welsh fan or a Jock?
There used to be an off licence on the corner of sandy lane and aldersley road run by an old couple and when I lived on lower street in the mid 90s I used to see him in there quite often on a Saturday night. I used to wear my wolves shirt back then (I was in my late teens so it was still acceptable) and he would alwAys strike up a conversation about how the days games had gone, usually turning the conversation onto some football violence he'd been involved in.
I always thought him a bit of an attention seeking, immature narcissist tbh and my gf at the time and me would usually take the **** out of him on the walk home.
Out of interest, why did he swap clubs?
To that end, I'm glad he's their problem instead of ours.I was looking at the Wednesday fans around him yesterday and they do appear to be embarrassed by him.
Just about to say exactly this! I could see him clearly from my vantage point in the Bully Upper and he spent the whole game with his arms outstretched taunting the South Bank. Why go to a football match and not watch the game????? And why take your shirt off - ****ing ****!He seemed more bothered about trying to get the attention of the South Bank than watch the game yesterday, all very odd. And the Wednesday fans around him noticeably kept their distance

Not sure if this will help but there is a lad I know from the Blackheath area also known as Tango. Wolves supporter and never followed Wednesday. Maybe some are confusing him with the Wednesday one?
He talks it, but he's not when he's in a one on one.Ooohh dead hard.
