You mean like shipping out the only backup striker without an incoming replacement first, hoping our only fit striker remains fit and firing?Be absolutely mad to even contemplate such a move!!!
What! Who told you that?“Coady not in squad today. Transfer potentially on the cards”

Anyone who plays 5 at the back is guess. If Coady leaving meant to Neves signed a new deal as captain and the money was spent to bring in Nunes or another good CM/Striker would people be for or against it?
I think Coady’s a great lad and a huge asset for the club even when not playing, but something like that would be hard to turn down.
I wonder who’d be in for him?
Forest is in my head. They’ve done a complete overhaul of the squad and someone like Coady would be perfect to keep them up.Anyone who plays 5 at the back is guess.
He’s great in that position and worth the fee alone for leadership qualities.
100% agree and for that reason it isn’t happening. In fact it would be the single worse decision we could make. End of next season maybe, not now.If we sold Coady, it would simply mean we would need to buy another defender as Mosquera and Toti aren’t ready and Boly has struggled massively since Covid. Also means we don’t have the flexibility to switch back to a three in some games.
Would be a really poor decision.
I don’t think we’ll be selling Coady, then again I didn’t think we’d sell Doc.If we sold Coady, it would simply mean we would need to buy another defender as Mosquera and Toti aren’t ready and Boly has struggled massively since Covid. Also means we don’t have the flexibility to switch back to a three in some games.

Well then maybe there is something too it… Newcastle, Everton & Spurs apparently made approaches but not sure if it is one or these clubs.Seen another mention on twitter that Coady isnt in the squad tonight. I guess we will all find out soon enough.

It was in reply to Nathan Judah's recent tweet. Cant link it. Only one tweet. I suppose the same person could have seen it mentioned on here?
Absolutely A.W. and spot on for sure!!You mean like shipping out the only backup striker without an incoming replacement first, hoping our only fit striker remains fit and firing?
No, No a thousand times No say I.I'd support selling Coady
Loves the club, he alone can have a massive influence on squad bonding. That kind of thing doesn't come along often. Keep even if bench/squad player.I'd support selling Coady

Sadly in the preceding games he played he was bloody awfulRegards Boly, wasn’t he close to mom at Anfield in our last game? I’m sure he was, but he’s finished
I don't think the captaincy is as important to players as you seem to think it is.If Coady leaving meant to Neves signed a new deal as captain and the money was spent to bring in Nunes or another good CM/Striker would people be for or against it?

No he doesn't. He needs a good amount of minutes at the centre of a three.World Cup year, he needs to be a regular starter to make the squad.
We need to raise money to build a squad.
He’s been a phenomenal, iconic figure in our last 5 years but I can see the logic in cashing in now for both him and us.
As always with these things it would come down to the size of the offer.I'd support selling Coady
