I sit in the North Bank Upper & you don’t really notice it when you’re sat there. The only thing I can think of is that the team attacks the South Bank in the second half. What do the half time pictures look like for each stand?

Can only speak looking out at the North Bank, but it’s no better at half time. 35 minutes onwards empties just as quickly to the point of being ridiculous by 40.

I honestly don’t believe the exit excuse, especially comparing it to the Steve Bull, or bottom 10 rows of the South Bank. It’s a culture, a habit. Every stand has people who leave early, every club, every ground, but the North Bank has become ridiculous over the last few seasons.

With how expensive things are getting these days, bit surprising people want to pay good money and go early when we're playing some of the best football we've seen for years.

That said, plenty of ****s who seem more interested in getting a half time pie than watching the match. Must have had a stream of them from 45-50 minutes coming back the other week.

I left around the 83rd minute mark last night. Sorry but I had to be up for 4.45 this morning and didn't really get much sleep the night before after a mental Christmas. Don't worry I won't be making a habit of it.

Is it really that bad getting out of the North Bank? Can’t believe it’s any worse than the Steve Bull, especially if you’re at the wrong end.
No it isn’t any worse, and I’ve been in every single stand this year and to a lot of other grounds. The upper parts of all sides of any ground naturally take longer than the bottom sides. The North Bank are a disgrace, whether you compare it to other parts of our ground or other grounds round the country. I’ll be having a few words next home game when I’m back in there and the same usual ****ers start leaving with ten minutes to spare, and I dont give a **** what excuse they come out with.

Walked past about 5000 north bankers(!) congregated on Adsa car park waiting for a marshall in a high vis and a clipboard to escort them back in.

I don’t want to moan today, but Jesus Christ what is the matter with people leaving early? I’m not talking 5 minutes, I’m talking 10 and 15 minutes. The lads are running their *******s off and people can’t even be ***** to stop and clap them off. It’s embarrassing.

I don’t care if people have a train or bus to catch, want to miss the traffic or it’s a school night. The people next to me left on 70 mins and do so regularly!

The players are clapping half empty stands at the end. Good god.

People leaving all over the ground, the North Bank is no exception. Don’t know why people do, but it’s their choice.

I never noticed how bad it was until i saw that picture, i sit NB upper right next to the away fans and its still pretty full on the pic and every week so i never understood what all the fuss was.

I dont get this thing about terrible to get out of, ive never had a problem, park by the station so by the time walked up there and driven off i dont think ive ever been stuck in traffic. Dunno what difference 5 mins would make to the traffic/exits anyway

I’ll do what I want, not what the sad people on this website think I should do
Chill out Craig, we're 12 points clear!
Think you're taking this a bit personally, it's a forum and if people want to ask why one stand is 3/4 empty with 5 minutes to go despite the team being brilliant then they can.
You do what you want mate but it is embarrassing when the players go over to clap an empty stand.

Turn the TV's off after half time. Im in NB upper and when I leave after full time the concourses are quite full of people watching on the tvs near the stairs. They are watching the game but waiting to charge down the stairs like a greyhound out the traps... Turn the TV's off after halftime and this will force them to stay to the end as I think they want to see the full 90 mins but also want to leg it out soon as possible and cant be bothered with the masses making their way down the stand stairs to the concourse entrances.

The old North Bank had two levels of exits and people could also get out via the front at the sides, this one, thanks to the Corporate Areas only has one level. I sat there for a couple of seasons before seeing the light and to get my train at night matches I'd move down to a seat by the exit until the final whistle and then have to leg it to the station. It truly is one of the many awful design features of that stand.

Re the volume, Nuno dropped a ******* by insisting that away fans are put in the upper quadrant. They need to be as near to the South Bank as possible to get the banter going. It's terrible without them there to goad.

Lower is the same, concourse half full watching TVs last few mins.

Completely agree, I was up at 4:30 this morning to drive to London but still stayed to the end to clap the lads off. I know I'd have saved 20 mins on the journey getting out of Wolves but I'd rather stay to the end.

I was more concerned about the lack of noise until the second half, and even then it was poor. Molineux, with its wide open spaces, eats up and spits out what little noise is generated, unlike those stand-hugging grounds.

Unfortunately, the fans seem relaxed, expecting a win. And I know the style is not exactly conducive to good atmosphere, first half it seemed like a counter attacking game, whilst Cav changed it totally and we began to attack more.

I think some complacency is inevitable with the current form though. But come on, we need better vocal support, and a lot of us in the South Bank clapped the Steve Bull for leading the vocal support.

Regards the leaving early, I will forgive fans on an evening game, but perhaps we can all have a think about this if we are doing it. And altho I try to sing support I did leave early last night as I didn't want my son getting home too late. Hands up I admit that.

Apologies to the team, and to Nuno. I will rethink and provide better support in future.

I was in the North Bank lower and clapped the players off, saw the highlights on the big screens and was driving around the ring road on my way home before 10. Was with my brother who hasn't been in that stand before and he couldn't believe it.

Was sat next to a gangway so get the worst of it when people walk past. After half time, I said to my brother it's no point sitting down yet unless you want to improve your thigh strength so just sat on the gangway step until the last ones came back about 10 mins into the second half.

I suppose I can't say I know how difficult it is actually to get out of the stand though if full as it always seems half empty when I leave.

Ergh, women at the football, just ergh, never mind talking about it, bad enough you’re not in the kitchen never mind going and talking about football

You don’t like fans who leave early, I don’t like women at football

Exact same as someone saying they wouldn’t like to sit by an obese person or sitting behind a 6 foot 9 person.

Wow..... just have to hope someone will be waking up with one massive hangover and extremely ashamed. Surely in 2018 views like these either have to be a wind up or someone's drunk. Either way they have no place here for me.

The road closure measures and restricted departure (30 mins after final whistle) on the official wolves car parks should make things easier traffic wise and mean people can afford to stay until the end.

Not sure why the urgency to leave.

This isn't true though the other 'Shifnal' - we have a car park ticket for 4 of us in Red Hill Street which since the parking restrictions have been put in place have meant if we leave straight on the full time whistle it takes us over an hour to get to the Halfords - it is shocking. We now park at the Science Park but I see a lot of others leave early to avoid being stuck for so long.

It needs to be looked at, and quick

Since we've got good and the crowds are back... its becoming hard to park in my usual spot by science park.... means I have to get there an 1.30hr early to get a spot now! grrrr...

Parking needs addressing next season but for now turn the TV's off I think, they are rubbish anyways got a purple tint on all of them the past few weeks...

Mate I park on Red Hill myself, I left on the whistle and was home by 10:15pm last night.

I live in bournemouth and if i leave with a minute of injury time left i can beat the traffic. These days, with this team, i don’t and i stay to the end and take my traffic medicine. Yesterday hordes of people in the north bank left from 80 minutes. There is still 14 left at that point! Why bother coming?

What's that all about it was like it last home game and the one before that I think - they've only had a month to sort it out!

Must admit it looked bad tonight........was with a bunch of guys all fans of other clubs in the BW upper , up for our annual conference and company purchased a corporate package for 10 of us ....They even commented on how quiet it was for long periods and how the N Bank was emptying at last 10 minutes before the end especially the way we were playing ......

Generally think the vocal support is worst it has been for a while.....complacency or lack of away fans to bounce off at last few games may be an issue , but if we cant get behind the team when we are winning week in , week out when can we.
I agree. It was very very quiet. The steve bull outsang the south bank for most of the game. It was is if we all have collective amnesia about the last 40 years and are already taking things for granted. There is a post on twitter from a wolves fan saying we should be given the trophy now. Other fans will love that ......

I personally think the South Bank needs the away fans near them to bounce off... since they've been moved I think SB has been quieter....

Yeah it was bad tonight for that I said to the chap next to me why leave with ya team 3-0 up
This is what's needed in my view....football fans too polite these days. See someone leaving early ask em...what ya ****ing leaving for mate? You might get a genuine response in which case 'fair enough' should suffice as an apology.

Don't sit there watching people leave then come back on here to vent. Challenge them on it / shame them into staying.

That's what I've started doing, obviously don't be a ***** about it.

From my exprience of sitting around the ground. (I could be wrong) But I think the new north bank is by far the worst stand to get a flow/steady numbers leaving at FT, it seems really poorly executed in that regard. But I know that's not the main reason. This problem will be lot's of small issues which amount to that picture took tonight.
I'd say the Steve Bull upper when full is a lot worse, but lets not make it into a stand v stand thing it happens all over (it is for some reason more noticeable in the Northbank but I honestly think that maybe something to do with the longer seats)
