Robbie Fowler.... One of my favourite strikers.
I liked Robbie, and loved this celebration.
I watched him play for North Queensland against Wolves in Perth on Wolves pre season tournament in 2009.

Me and my brothers recorded this on our new(ish) video recorder at the time. We must have watched this about 100 times. Surprised the tape never faded away.

Was such an unlikely victory and by an unimaginable score :D Hope's were flying high after it

If I remember right wolves got totally stuffed the very next game

Yes we did. 5-0 at home to ****ford, then 5-1 away to Leicester. Our next win was a 3-0 win at home v Everton late December.

Remember that game so well. Went on the 79 bus with 4 lads from school, lippy little 14/15 year olds. A few Wolves in the Brummie Road early doors got escorted round the pitch. After the game waiting for the bus a load of lads came back up the Brummie Rd, we froze but turned out to be Wolves lads, gave us respect and told us to keep our heads down on the bus back...like that was ever going to happen...Awful season but a great day!

I was there and never doubted that we would win!

Wolves Win Cup: Wolverhampton Wanderers John Richards (far left) puts the ball past Manchester City goalkeeper Keth Macrae (right) to score the winning goal in the Football League Cup Final at Wembley stadium, London, March 2nd 1974. Manchester City's Mike Doyle (No. 4) and Wolverhampton Wanderer's Derek Dougan (No 10) look on.
