Less a football and more like 45 minutes of punishment. No tempo, no identity, no gameplan. Fabio being eaten up by the centre-backs like scrambled eggs on toast. Hwang and Cunha non-existent. Gomes and Lemina overrun. Neto constantly on his wrong foot with the balance of a fat kid on a bouncy castle. And O'Neil slouching on the sidelines with hands in pockets like a hospital patient hooked up to a morphine drip.

Just ****ing awful and utterly pointless.

There's something very wrong tactically. We aren't set up for this match at all. We keep getting stuck in crowded areas.

It's reminiscent of the last few years... the horseshoe of death. Tap it around a bit at the back, pass it down the sides, pass it back, tap it around a bit at the back, pop it in to midfield and lose it.

Two very poor teams. Don't think we've been quite as bad as has been suggested on here - we started ok, looking a bit more cohesive than Everton but as the half has gone on we've looked less and less willing to try and play through the press. Psychologically the players have allowed Everton to get a foothold on the game even though they can't string two passes together.

All of the major chances have fallen to Everton as well, and every set piece we look vulnerable.

Tactical disaster class again. Hwang isn't a left winger, Neto can't play on the right. Siva and Cunha not involved at all. Feel sorry for those that spent their hard earned to watch that tripe.

What's all this passing to a player about 10 yards ahead with about 2 -3 players on his back. It's obviously part of a plan to keep the ball but we invariably lose it. We've somehow got to be more inventive. Frustrating.

How? If you get a chance look at the 21st minute - puts his RB under pressure with a poor pass, gets it back, waits, puts the LB in the same **** and Everton break. Again and again.
