In most cases it's a piece of paper in front of your nose and mouth. Just wear it for a couple of hours.

I'm fed up with all the different study's showing massively different results.

A mask might help a little bit. Do your ****ing bit. It really doesn't matter if it doesn't work, at least you tried.
There arn't any different studies showing different results. There are no validated clinical trials that support a type 1 or 2 mask make any difference, let alone a piece of cloth. I do my bit by being vaccinated and not turning up with symptoms.

Hmmmn let me see… so do I wear my mask and reduce the chance of killing someone or do I not bother because it makes me a rebel?

If someone does die, then I’ll probably never find out about it.

Even if I do, I probably won’t even know them so it doesn’t matter.

If people are prepared to act like this in public over something temporary and mildly inconvenient (like wearing a mask). I dread to think what kind of things they are considering in the privacy of their own thoughts….
Its a bit like the people who love to follow the rules to look out for other people. They get on the motorway and drive at 80 mph + they think 30 is too slow and get up to 35 36 in a 30 zone and then of course they drive through the amber light before it goes RED cos they can make it ....all to look out for the safety of other people !! the world is full of Hippocrates who love to follow the rules as long as the rules suit them.. and don't get me started on the drink drivers. These people get double jabbed and wear masks around others because they CARE..

I’m actually at the point now where I couldn’t care less if Fosun just started building a new stadium else where or had us playing at Villa Park for seasons while they totally rebuild Molineux.

I don’t think I could take 4/5 years of these arguments over who can and can’t get tickets.

Does anyone have a scooby what the plans are to increase the capacity at Molineux? The concept changes every summer but nothing gets done.

Interesting. For the last 40 plus years I have attended football. There have been numerous flu seasons ( not to mention SARS etc) with very high mortality. Now Covid has an infection fatality rate lower than flu, and is much less dangerous to the young than flu, we are being told to wear a mask to a football match. You don't need to wear a mask to sit in a pub. we all attended games right up to the lockdown, it wasn't identified as a super spreader event. At least 70% of covid is acquired in hospital and care home settings. Everyone vulnerable has been vaccinated. For nearly every football match fit person who has been jabbed or under 30,its no longer more than a bad cold at worse now. Well over 90% of adults have antibodies.
Masks bellow FFP2/3 standard do not stop airborne viruses, the gaps are simply too big. You need to be fit tested for most FF2/3 masks and you fail most the tests.
But, if masks make you feel more secure and help you transition back to normal, then fine.
But please, don't get all antsy in the stadium with people who choose to risk assess that they are basically pointless and/ or for whom they cause distress. Be nice.
( Im happy to wear one in the concourse areas )
Perhaps the mortality rate for Covid would be higher than flu if it wasn't for lockdowns/masks and other measures.

Maybe flu deaths would be much lower with a similar approach to the virus' containment?

The two can't be compared directly due to disparity in our response to both.

Why the **** don't we just build a bigger stadium.. ?? No need for a waiting list.
Who owns the land?
Who‘s going to pay for it?
Are there any reasonable reasons for Wolves Co. not to expand it?
Is it a wise use of current financial resources?
What are the possible downsides and upsides over the next 20 years?

We’ll they had enough stories in the paper telling us how great it would be and answering your questions and then they changed their mind…

You do realise you can have no symptoms and still have COVID?

Job done on you then.

Plans have come and gone and nothing done for Molineux.

I honestly think Fosun want an out of town Fosun International Arena with casinos, hotels etc. Therefore it suits them to keep up this imagine that its really hard to get tickets for all games (when its proven its simply not). Softens people to the idea.

When did they ever change their mind?……..what?…..when?

What fool or dingbat is going to criticize Fosun/Wolves because they wanted to be the new Man. City.? We all wanted that as silly as it sounded. Football is about blind love and we all blindly love Wolves.
And if our expectations don’t match some PR announcement……..grow up.

i wonder if we stayed 'stable' for a year or two more in the PL, they might take the plunge because there's clearly the appetite. jeff did allude to market / borrowing conditions having to be right to press the button, and they weren't now - thus implying they could be at some point. right now i think fosun are in a holding pattern both in uk and globally (esp china) , seeing what develops post pandemic

there's all sorts of things that could come into play - boris and his 'levelling up' agenda might mean there's special rates for places like wton (especially as Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government Robert Jenrick is a Wolves lad) post pandemic - especially if they're looking for vote-winning flagship projects

essentially sweeteners like the deal that spurs were 'given' for their stadium, could be replicated in areas where the tories want to maintain a stranglehold. yes public services and infrastructure is what matters, but a shiny new renovated molineux would be relatively cheap headline grabber as well as a genuine shot in the arm for the city (spurs purportedly used mostly local labour) and sorted within a year or two

****ing depressing for me to face 10 more years of the tories but hey ho at least the wolves might get a swanky new stadium.

You can have Covid without symptoms. You can spread Covid before displaying symptoms. You best try harder.

And seriously, while I appreciate there is plenty of evidence to the contrary, there is also lots of studies and evidence to support wearing a mask and their ability to reduce the spread of Covid.

I doubt there's any point in trying to convince you though, your mind is probably made up. You've found the evidence you want to believe, and you believe the evidence that suits you with no regard for anything else.

If you won't accept the possibility that your preferred evidence is not 100%, then you'll never back down.

I have serious doubts that wearing a mask is doing anything but as long as there is the possibility I'll continue to do my bit.

Surprised that I could just buy tickets for Coventry for myself and kids (expired memberships) but can't for this.
Just have to watch it using the super package I bought last week.

You could buy tickets for Cov once they hit the relative status you were buying at in the same way you will for this. Ie Monday. Not sure what's surprising about that

Flu mortality and infection rates were way down last winter due to the restrictions because of covid. Of course, if you believe most people caught it in hospital that makes no sense as there were lots in hospital still.

How many people had flu but counted towards Covid stats? Of course no one has died of old age in the last 18 months either.

Up to 72 hours the club reckon before able to print ticket. The club was and is unable to put in a reasonable IT system.

Chinese politics on outwards investment. The Fosun leadership has to follow the party line. I’d doesn’t matter that the company has investments offshore. That are Chinese.
