Hi guys first of all i would like to say unlucky in the play offs.
As you may recall i told you that it was a done deal that Andy Keogh was going to sign for you guys in January, however, i have seen that you are expecting/hoping to sign our Billy now. Im afraid that there was interest from...
Just had a text from a friend down in bristol saying the local 606 radio down there are saying Billy Sharp is signing for wolves today. Not sure why it would be special news in bristol so it may be complete rubbish. Apologies in advance if it is!
On virtually every thread since Wednesday there's been mention of Billy Sharp and how he's the 'missing link'. Well I did a quick google and found this...

So this should keep all informed of the bloke's...

Now that modern strikers and central defenders have evolved into powerful pacey athletes and being anything between 6'3" and 6'7" tall,I wonder if our own Billy Wright would cope in the modern game.Although he was spring heeled and could out jump a lot of taller forwards he was only about 5'8"...
I don't know whether anyone has mentioned it or noticed the article. I was reading IC Wolverhampton and read an article on what Ward said about Keogh's arrival. It seems that Mick was/is after Billy Sharp as well.

With all the rumours about him flying around it made me think of when clubs were looking at Dean Ashton. Nobody seemed to have the bottle to take the risk on him but norwich did and it paid of big time for them. I know they are different sorts of forwards but i think sharpe could be as...
Seen today in BBC Sport's Gossip Column:
"West Brom are preparing a £1.75m bid for S****horpe striker Billy Sharp and could let Nathan Ellington return to Wigan to fund the move. (Daily Mail)"
Football365 have a wonderful tribute of Billy Wright.
I have great memories of the man (sadly, not the player).
Any Wolves fan would enjoy this :

Twelve years ago this day, September 3 1994, Billy Wright passed away, and Mike Stowell performed heroics in earning us a point at Sunderland. A sad day it was.
RIP Billy.

I never saw Bert Williams play, but many people tell me he was better than Banks and Shilton.
And I can't believe Phil Neal didn't beat George Cohen at RB ;)
I've been banging on about this guy ever since the idea of Izale Mcleod coming to Molineux was first touted. Does it take a $$$$ing genius to see that he is now the 2nd divisions joint top scorer with fat $$$$$$$ Trundle, half Trundles age, more goals than the coveted Hawley, Scoring for fun in...
