    Team for Liverpool

Get me an André - Doyle double pivot with either Gomes or lemina ahead of them to break up the opposition midfield. I see a big part of the problem is we have a midfield which is expending a lot of energy over 60-70 minutes then it falls apart. Add some stability. I don't want to think about...

    Hardest Wolves Team

A few modern mentions I feel are needed, Alfred ndiaye Maybe not hard but Podence was definitely Scrappy. I get the feeling Peszko could kill a man. Romain Saiss has a little bit of crazy about him. Maybe not hard but I felt Karl Henry would two foot tackle anyone.

Brighton v Wolves LC3 (Carabao Cup) comms thread.

I had a stop start view as my partner did everything they could to interrupt my viewing the game... What I saw of the first half, not a single player in a good light. Whenever I looked up and wolves were attacking Guedes was offside, based on the times I was looking at the screen you could tell...

    Newcastle verdict

I think we view a lot of the game like that, it's easy to find one moment that ruins it, or saves a performance because of a goal or lack thereof. It's what the game is about after all. On semedo directly, it's unfortunately typical him, he can do some amazing stuff in match, but there will...

    Newcastle verdict

I wasn't at the game no, but I did watch it start to finish. Prefacing it like that doesn't take away that you're suggesting I didn't watch it because my opinion differs; I'll keep it to discussion of opinions though. I am on my jollies, so I will keep this short(ISH). I think Gary O'Neil's...

    Newcastle verdict

I feel like I've watched a different match to some of you, but I can understand dramatic negatives breed a negative view of the whole game. In all I think we played well, significant portions were in control of the game even if not the ball.....but it does seem inevitable that after so much...

    Team vs. Newcastle (H)

I predict, on the basis of lemina and ait nouri being doubtful, that they won't play. Whenever we get players 'back ready' and expect a start based on their reputation, I find O'Neil benches them to be safe, I think he is jaded by the jan-feb injury parade last year. I may just be thinking of...

Is 343 more of an attacking or defending formation?

3-4-3 is a formation that focuses on the transitions between different phases of play (Pressing, rushing back, controlling the ball). When the ball is won or lost transitioning into a defensive block or into a counter or a slightly slower wing overload. Your 4-3-3 means that the speed at which...

    West Ham United Verdict

Having a tough time, eagerly awaiting the return of club football, immediately regretting placing any hope in enjoying it. Only so many times you can watch every player slow play down to the point that west ham can get whatever they want back behind the ball. Only to then pass it lethargically...

Fosun in? Jeff & Sellars Out?

Why has it became trendy for teams fans to hate on their owners like there are these magical benevolent billionaires out there that understand perfectly how to run a club. Fosun have and continue to make mistakes but they're hardly evil masterminds running the club into the ground. Some of you...

The happy days are here again, hopefully no more repeated arguments, transfer thread

People's signing trips are wearing off, they're on a come down. Quick someone inject a CM into their veins.

    Pre season friendlies

Just a reminder for everyone, think we have a behind closed doors friendly that happens tomorrow?

The happy days are here again, hopefully no more repeated arguments, transfer thread

I think there seems to be rumours of a last ditch effort to offload a home grown talent from one of the Portuguese big 3 each year. Especially as the financial year resets. We've taken advantage of it in the past, who knows? Could be that £45m is a front and he can be gotten a lot cheaper.

The happy days are here again, hopefully no more repeated arguments, transfer thread

Likely to get the transfer thread completely derailed and frozen at this rate, we don't want that; it would prevent us from discussing the 100m we'll spend later today.

The happy days are here again, hopefully no more repeated arguments, transfer thread

Read this as striker at first. Imagine my dismay when you weren't linking someone. But I agree. Being able to spend disposable (or not really disposable in some cases) income on support for wolves is a privilege, and admirable in itself. But let's not pretend like we aren't all aware life...
