This loss has all been our own doing. From playing 4 atb. To not being able to pass 2 yards or trap a bag of cement. The last 3 games have made me really question GON.

He seems to have talked the talked. When it's come to time to walk, he has fallen.

Still waiting for this all out attack he promised from before the Forest game too.

Yeah, we were. Bellegarde had no idea where to be on the pitch in the position he was asked to play. He's not a LWB. He's not a CB. It was 4 at the back.
We weren't, we simply were not playing a normal back four, toti and semedo were playing high up like wing backs. It was some horrible weird hybrid which has had players massively out of position on both of the first goals

If you could just fuse Bentley, who has good distribution/organization with Sa who is a good shot stopper we would have one of the most complete keepers in the premier league.
You still wouldn't have a keeper that can catch.

Paqueta is head and shoulders the best player on the pitch, brilliant performance today. Today, Cunha looks an off brand generic version.

The gulf in individual player quality is telling today. I love our boys biut they are limited technically as individuals and as a team.

Okay, then who were the CBs? Lemina? Gomes? Bellegarde? We have been playing basically a 3-4-3 lately, with the wingbacks coming back to make a 5-2-3 on defense.

But he put Bellegarde in the Bueno/RAN role today and he was all over the pitch.

Totally.out.of control.by Coufal, rightly gets a yellow, for something similar to what Jiminez got a red for yesterday.

I think they are technically as good, if allowed to be, our coaches have already said they want more rigid and less individuals

Roll on the January transfer window and see if we can get some decent reinforcements in.

Who/what is GON going to blame today on, before he says or mentions any mistakes he made?

Any takers?

That should be a red

No control whatsoever
It really shows you how ridiculous this sport is these days.

Bellegarde got a straight red for pushing a player off holding him with his boot (spikes).

But you can run in 2 seconds late, hit a player in the head with a shoulder that may cause a concussion... and there's not even a VAR check. Insane.
