Just got back and what amazing support our fans gave today despite everything.

We have left Brighton with only positives about our club and they have the upmost respect.
Things could have been nasty today if the trouble makers had got into the ground.
Fair play to the stewards and Brighton fans but also the Police who even though came over to the South stand the knelt down so fans could still see.

Team aside we showed how great our club s and this was reflected by the positive comments I have got whilst mopping my way home.

Cheers

Just got back, as only live 15 miles from Brighton. Yep, totally agree about the Wolves fans today and the way O'hara threw it back in our faces pretty much sums him up. Nice ground, but something missing atmosphere wise from the home fans for me.

Worryingly, a must win game and Brighton barely had to get out of 2nd gear. Siggy not starting was baffling to say the least. I''l be even more baffled in "a results business", if DS is here next season though !!!

Brighton Wolf, i met a Wolves fan today who runs a bar in Shoreham. If you fancy meeting for a beer over the summer in Shoreham to have a chat about our beloved club, let me know !!!

On the commentary thread there was a mention that the Wolves escort was still outside the stadium well into the match ?

There were about 50 in spoons before the game, we could tell there was going to be an escort so left 20 mins before they did.

Got to the station and had to jump the barrier to get in the kast train before kickoff, they put on a different train for the escort

When they got to the other end they got held back for 15 minutes at the Falmer end if the station

There was a train problem I think as I queued for nearly an hour at Brighton and was 10 mins late. It's not normally that bad.

Dont care if we have the best fans in the world because arguably we have the worst Owner, CE, manager and players and that's what matters.

As a Brighton fan can I say how decent I thought the Wolves fans were today. It was a bit of an 'almost' atmosphere for the home fans because we couldn't move from 4th spot and were already looking ahead to the play-offs.
The Mexican wave was great and the Que sera, sera we're going to Shrewsbury was in good spirit. The day went off well and it was good to see both sets of fans mixing so well, I saw no hostility at any point point apart to O'Hara. Perhaps these psychologists might be onto something when they say if you treat people well they behave well.
Good luck next season, see you in 2014/15.

Great Away Support

Fantastic away day.

Knew we were down before we set off but still had a great away day with my son and Telford Wolves.

Fantastic away support, well done all those who made the long journey down and did themselves proud.

Classics belted out, new songs belted out, standing ovation from the Brighton fans at the end. The Mexican wave going round and round, people in fancy dress

Best of all, "We will never die" at the end.

The travelling fans also let JOH and RJ what we really thought of them....." Nine men we would rather have nine men"

Yes, we didn't get their till about 15 mins in or so.

Absolutely disgusting, took us a ridiculously long way to the station, wouldn't let people out to have a $$$$ saying wait till the station, then get to the station same story wait till the train on the train wait till the ground.

Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from the coppers again, denying human rights.

Our fans we're brilliant though, didn't think much of theirs though say silent through most of the match except for joining in with our mexican wave, they applauded us which was nice but they didn't make a lot of noise.

Positivity from fans can help surely ?
Understand why we've been more negative, critical and picky, the players need to give us something, but we all have a part to play.
I'm hoping with young and hungry, the fans will be hungry and positive again. Not self mocking, negative and dispirited.
Takes something on the pitch to help this as well

Some nasty individuals on here are very quick to post how bad our fans are. I think the fans are fantastic and have been for over 3 years now despite constant relegation battles and 3 years of dross on the pitch.

Brighton Praise

Wolves fans started the applause for Tony Grealish before the announcer had finished - for that and their passion and their winding up the stewards with a never-really-going-to-happen pitch invasion full respect and I would vote them best away fans of the season.......all that and the mexican wave

The above is taken from a Brighton forum, and typical of the respect we earned from their supporters yesterday.

Well done to everyone who travelled, it made me proud to be a supporter of Wolverhampton Wanderers.

I had a great day out over there yesterday. I only wish it was a drier day.
