No that's the Portuguese fella we trying to get rid ofIs he the bloke that's about 4ft tall?
He'll never make it....
I thought he was an entertaining liabilityI think bouba will be above him.....he was brilliant at times last night .....
Honestly, I'd say the set pieces likely put him above Traore.Watching some highlights of Doyle, he reminds me of Ward-Prowse. Not the most physically gifted, but he gets stuck in, passing range and vision second to none, excellent setpieces. He could be a gem. I think for now he probably slots in as Hodge's replacement as 4th choice.
Know you’re getting old when you can remember watching a new signings Grandad play….. how time flies.I saw his Grandads many times. Mike was once voted City's hardest player. Didn't help in the 74 League Cup final.
Liability is a bit harsh....he had a couple of moments that probably would have got punished in the premier league granted.....if he could cut that out he would be good....he was on his own in midfield or he it against Blackpool...... tactically I was sure where Hodge was playing at all....he seemed to be advanced leaving a gaping whole..I thought he was an entertaining liability
he gave the ball away for their shot and committed the foul for their free kick. Regularly caught in possession.
but he can also break the lines, get stuck in, and bomb forward
i still think he’s a risk against better teams
Because he's a footballing visionary.Why not?
Plenty of examples of him getting it wrong too.Because he's a footballing visionary.
He is more ready for front line in the prem than hodge and arguably b.traore, so I think we see him feature sooner rather than later. We’ll he’s 22 in October so he should be gearing up to be a starter if he’s got anything about him.
I would be surprised if he was ,down to his age and he will only be a loanee when he first joins .I wonder if Doyle will be part of the leadership group? He’s only young but has been a captain previously.
Ridiculous for a HG player with Doyle's career to date.£4.3m option is crazy good value.
So we already have Nunes replacement in house ! ;-)I thought he was an entertaining liability

It's a 16 man game now, will he improve our first team squad? I think so.Is he going to improve our first XI right now? Probably not.
That's in two different teams, in two different leagues
No didn’t know that cheersProbably mentioned already but the Grandson of Mike Doyle and Glyn Pardoe-
City legends who played against us in the League Cup Final in 1974

Bloody spoilsportHe's on loan so won't be able to play against City
Joe Hodge scoring the winner instead?
I know... I was objecting my own post even as i was writing it!Bloody spoilsport
Answer to that don’t sellLots of good comments on the Blue moon forum and as above a JWP comparison, apparently very good with set pieces. Seems like we got a bargain here, who knows that 50% sellon could be negotiated in the future and dropped...
Tommy Doyle | On loan at Wolves
Bajkowski reporting it as a loan with an option to buy. I imagine it's a loan, with an option of a £5m buy and 50% sell on then.forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk

I prefer a la carte but I get your pointWill just be nice to have someone on the pitch who can deliver a good set price for a change.
But not on annual revenues of £160-180m. Simple! Sir!We were? Much of Nuno's team were 'finished articles' when they arrived: Patricio, Boly, Saiss, Jonny, Neves, Jota, Jimenez, Traore, Moutinho - that's pretty much a full team. Your comment, which sadly is pretty much true, shows just how far we've declined as a Club. Gone in a few short seasons from Europe to relegation candidates. Sad.
Blimey - he looks younger than the club driver.
I'm calling it now. Future captain.
You could well be right. He interviews well and seems to have a mature head on those shoulders.I'm calling it now. Future captain.
