Newcastle got a second dodgy penalty, and the second one was an absolute joke. Newcastle player (Gordon) runs into the back of the West Ham player, gets his leg hooked by the West Ham player who has his back to him, and goes down. Somehow Newcastle get a penalty awarded after an on field screen review.

It's generally more volatile anyway, but VAR is one of the contributing factors into the assaults on refs in Turkey. There's a different attitude here of course but it says everything about what VAR has done for the game. I absolutely loathe it.
