Must admit to being conflicted. I love England, not as much as Wolves, and more over recent years than since the 70s and 80s. But I also really want Gomes, as a Wolves player, to excel. I find myself kinda supporting Brazil. Strange.

I feel like this is partly why you get lower league England fans. It's hard to hate Maguire, Grealish and co one week and cheering them on for England the next. I'd certainly be cheering a Gomes goal!

Positives, Bellingham is clearly the only world class player on the pitch, Gordon has looked bright, Gallagher not bad and Rice very solid as usual.

That's what happens to the best players on the pitch, at every level played throughout the world.

I was told since I was a kid to take it as a complement that the only way they could stop me was to foul me, don't get involved, and let the ref do their job. Not run around the pitch, from ref to linesman, to fourth official, whinging like a greetin' faced bairn who's not getting everything his own way.
