Just think we need an experienced starter as such . With a decent delivery.. Think you might get him for 5/6m...

I'm not sure going to a 3-5-2 will be as successful this time round. No problem with a back 3 combination of Coady, Kilman, Dawson, Collins and Toti. the problem comes with the wing backs. It worked well for Nuno because he had Doc and Jonny. RAN would be good on the left but Semedo doesn't have the attacking output to be a RWB. I think Semedo is a good player and a better defender than Doc but he hasn't and won't score the goals that Doc did.

Well Transfermarkt has him valued at18m eur (about 15m sterling), and he has 2 years left on his Wolves contract, so selling him for 10-15m to a newly promoted team would be good business and close to 10m than we likely planned for.

Giles left, Hoever right. Hoever would get some goals and assists, he's like Doc but maybe not quite as good yet. Giles would get assists. Maybe Bolla, maybe even Dexter. Semedo would have to go though.

EDIT: Toti would be a good LWB too, imo.

So losing Neves reduces our goal output by 6 goals (20% of our Premier Goals), whoever comes in has to, as a minimum. cover that output, so you can cross Dest off the list for me.

Can't be doing another Doherty to Semedo, Jota to Silva or Akinbyi to Taylor again.

Like Neves you mean? For a team that can’t score from open play if the opposition didn’t turn up it’s worth the money IMO. Quality player for relatively smallish money.

Tielemans available on a free and will have bigger suitirs than us.

£40M for JWP is just crack pipe levels of delusion. I know they need to soften the relegation blow but that's silly.

£15M-20M may be worth a punt as even as a set piece specialist its got to be better than the awful short corner routines or Mouthino barrelling the ball into the first defender.
