I do think Che Adams would have given us something different so disappointed to see that move fall through. He’s more like Sasa than Silva or Cunha, so he’d have given us more balance with our forward options.

I would have been happy with adams, sad he's not coming too. Would obviously have taken someone like dia over him but certainly would have preferred adams over no one

I don't understand why we havn't been after Hugh Ekitike at Paris St Germain- they have just signed a striker and are willing to move him on-possibly on loan. Such an obvious target yet we waste time with the likes of Adams....bewildered.

We’d have come to some sort of agreement on the difference if it was down to that as it’d have benefited us (would have happened with Podence if it came down to it).

Odoi for £8m is unreal business IMV.

3 year deal is a bit iffy though, but he has a good season this year and he’s gone for an awful lot more than £8m.

I read he was going cheap due to his wage expectations. Apparently he's on something stupid like £180k per week at Chelsea.
