Remember that game, it was the day they buried Winston Churchill. Ron Flowers got the equaliser with two minutes to go. It bobbled in slowly and just made it over the line!
You’ve got a better memory than me. The only thing I remember is that I really liked the old gold colour and was fascinated by the roof of the old Molineux Street stand.
I’m at an age when I can barely remember last Wednesday’s game let alone 56 years ago.

Totally agree.

Me too. I know it’s not a cool opinion but if all our main attacking players are fit and he feels ready to start Jose I’d like to see four at the back today.

Yep, Adama Podence and Neto behind Jose would be the way to go.

If that was the case surely Nuno would use Mr Jamez as a double agent?
Ruddy
Boly - Marques - Lonjwik - Elokobi
Neves - Rae
Kightly - Vitinho - Jarvis
Richards J
Not a bad side at the right age, some younger some older

I think that Robbie Keane is in in place of Vitinho and Wagstaffe in place of Jarvis, who drop to the bench.

Got to say that Dave Wagstaffe is close to my all time favourite player

It’s the 56th anniversary of my first ever Wolves game. (2-2 Rotherham in the FA Cup, but we did win the replay!)
Come on Wolves, give me something to celebrate and allow me to continue my love affair.
Happy Anniversary Pompey ol' mate ;-)

I've got fond memories of Palace.
As a young boy I worked as a chef at a hotel very close to the ground.
Malcolm Allison was Manager, and got to know him Terry Venables and Peter Taylor fairly well.
They were always in the bar/restaurant.
Never met Fiona Richmond though, although it was at that time.
I'd been promised a cup final ticket but they got knocked out in the semis

Podence and Traore got to the problems talked by nuno surely, can't be tactical that.

Possibly but even then, we have vitinha, Gibbs white even Corbeanu who could play as an inside forward rather than play 3 cms.
