The date is difficult. According to the records I’ve looked at, it could be any of six that were played between 48 and 55 in the wintertime. November to February. My memory says we always had snow during those months.
Bert Williams and Bill Shorthouse.

The Daily Mail article at Golden Years: In the bleak midwinter - Football in the snow dates it at 19 February 1955 vs Charlton
Sadly, back in the mid 1980s, that photo was taken about half an hour before kick off.

Eddie Fuller? Please tell me more as I didn’t know that Big Frank had an alias.
I have done a bit of research and Eddie Fuller was a South African fast bowler who played 7 Tests between 1953 and 1957.
There is another Eddie Fuller who was on the Buffalo Bills roster for three seasons in the early 90s.
The final Eddie Fuller does have a massive link to the name Wolves. Apparently Eddie was an outstanding sports photographer who spent many seasons capturing the action involving Warrington Wolves rugby league team !!!
