Wolves have announced the signing of Danish youth international right-back Oskar Buur on a free transfer. Two year contract
We are now!Are we big in Denmark?
I must be getting old as he certainly looks young.

Good point. I wonder if he's going to be in he squad for Monday's game.Surely he has signed for the U23s rather than the academy?

Just thinking aloud. Why have his club allowed him to go on a free transfer if he has potential at that age? Does Denmark not have the same compensation for players under a certain age? I am all for a good bargain but just wondering.
Thanks. I wondered if that might be the case. There's no compensation when a player moves on a free to a club not in the same country. If Solanke had moved from Chelsea to Dortmund this summer as was mooted by some, Chelsea wouldn't have received a penny - as he moved to Liverpool they'll get a tribunal fee.
I don't think it is a free transfer. He received a contract in 2015 up to summer 2017 and that has expired. It's not clear who decided that he wouldn't be signing a new contract (unless there was a later contract not mentioned on wikipedia). They seem to have rated him at 16 though.Just thinking aloud. No it isn't as the U23s are essentially composed of full time professional players so therefore isn't part of the academy. The U23's is part of the Academy
