Liam Keen just tweeted everything on track for him to be Head Coach and doesn't rule out him taking any games before World Cup

Announcement on Saturday maybe?

Sung to Oasis - She's Electric

Shi's electric and he's mixed with a family full of eccentrics,
Shi did things we'd never expected and finally signed Lopetegui,
and it's about bloody time.

Best i could after the last offering.

Shaky Stevens - Julie

Whoa, whoa Julen, he loves the Wolves truly
Shi wanted you Julen, to be, to be his very own?

Me too. There seems a lot of talking and discussions…
I'm taking this as a positive. He wants to make sure his staff get sorted, he wants to know we are going to invest in the players he needs, he's coming in with his eyes open and calling the shots. Just what we need.

Tweets in Spanish aren't that helpful. What exactly does it say?

Okay. Translated it as "He hasn't signed anything at wolves. There are TWO other PREMIER TEAMS that bet on him".

Two other teams? Can only think Leicester and Leeds and both haven't indicated they are about to remove their managers.

Remains to be seen I guess.
I do not expect Julen Lopetegui to be the second coming of Jesus..but I will certainly welcome it if indeed that happens.
No , he is just a man. But imo the right man.

We always seem to take so long compared to other clubs in these "talks"

either way i guess it may be a case hes ready before arsenal.

It was touted early beginning of next week to be announced by some.
I agree. Genuine question: why would it take a whole week to conclude? Many bigger deals agreed in less time.

The only thing I can think of is it being done in a relaxed manner and taking into account family circumstances ie: not committing whole days and nights to get it done.

no idea, but its my massive stab in the dark.

Incredibly unlikely, IMO.

New owners would want their own new man, and it would be a very strange coincidence if that just happened to be the person Jeff's wanted since day 1.

Work permits for him and his staff maybe

Wolves probably concluded the talks and waiting for a perfectly timed announcement

I would take exception to that as Parkes was good enough to play for us and Yahin. .....not that I am biased in any way. ;):D
Parkes was part of the Vancouver Whitecaps winning the NASL ‘79 Soccer Bowl. We had a nice team then.
Tony Waiters was the coach. Here’s the roster. Read the names.

and Parkes was not really better than Yashin
Aye, aye, aye aye

Davies is better than Yashin

and Ernie is better than Eusebio

we'll give them a hell of a thrashing

I remember singing it in the mid-60s, and Fred Davies being mentioned rather than Phil Parkes.

Anyway, RIP the ever-reliable Fred and that great entertainer Ernie Hunt, both sadly missed :(
