And that was more or less than last time we saw him! Did get held back a couple of times, though nothing given by the homer ref. Ran the ball out of play. Anonymous but without the goal. :(
Neto apart virtually no service to the front players from anyone else in the team. Though also disappointing that for the few crosses Neto did put in there was no one making a run to get on the end of them

Neto is showing that we need attackers who can do it all by themselves, with no service. It was how Raul and Jota played, too, pretty much. Expecting intricate, precise passing through opponents, to deliver clear chances on a plate, requires Man Cities budget or Brighton's recruitment skill! We are very far from either of those.

'The Korean Guy' seemed to have a rocket up his **** today, probably his best performance in a Wolves shirt, barely put a foot wrong. I wonder why...

Love the fact he gives it his all no matter what. Was one of the few who came out with any credit after the Ipswich game.

Even more pleasing he got the winning goal given Peps memory slip - he certainly knows he's name now!!

Not a fan of Heang generally but certainly can never knock his commitment and today he was truly fantastic.

Thought that was his best all-round performance in a Wolves shirt. Pressed well as always but his retention of the ball was huge in alleviating the pressure.

Bit lucky not to be sent off, but if anyone was due a bit of good fortune from a referee it’s us.

I think the decision not to give him a second yellow probably nullifies the Man U penalty (as he wouldn't have been on the pitch to score) Let's hope the rest of our bad decisions get put right now

Likened him to a cheap version of Jota when he joined. Does similar things, works hard, physically robust, quick, but technically not as good as Jota. Doesn't half pop up in some good positions to stick the ball in the net though!

There's no way that was a second yellow. If you can't challenge for a rebound we may as well give up with football as a physical sport.

Give him the ball in the area and it’s a goal.

He’s the most natural goalscorer at the club and we need to keep getting him in and around the box. It seems so easy but it’s the most important thing we need to do.

I hate sounding like some 70's throwback, but he has the physicality needed to do well in this league. Well, any league, really. Was watching one of those Tifo videos about the best young strikers in Europe right now and time and time again , they are described as "strong, physical, holds off defenders". One of them (Matteo Roggi) they said he assaults the ball violently rather than kicks it, headbutts it rather than heads it. Anyway, the point is that Hwangs strength and power more than compensates for his lack of silky skills. And we've seen enough skillful players underwhelm here, because they just lack that strength and power - while they can do well in other leagues.

He really does have a knack of being in the right place for a goal scorer too. Way ahead of anyone else at the club, it must surely be obvious by now? OK, as mentioned, we do know he has his flaws, his control and passing isn't the best, but when you get in the right place as often as he does, goals will follow.

Been a crucial player for us this year and has turned out to be one of our best value for money buys!

This is his interview with Gemma:

I'm pretty sure he spoke no English when he arrived, but check this out. Amazing learning curve. Well done lad.
Was going to post the same. You beat me to it, el gringo. Hwang has started the season well and is silencing the doubters, for sure. He strikes me as a likeable member of the squad with no airs and graces and knuckles down to do what is asked of him. The learning of English shows his work ethic. Long may he continue to be in the right place at the right time to score important goals and hope his injury woes are behind him.

Better finisher too.

Big up to the two Korean lads in the Graham hughes who were absolutely buzzing when he scored.

But also note when Wolves are losing and fans are moaning many will give the club stick asking why they give tickets to people who ‘aren’t real fans’. Happens all the time and heard it myself at games far too many times when Korean fans have walked in to concourses.
