He played 2 games in Division 1 when Albion were relegated and played 3 and scored 2 in Division 2 at the start of the following season. Then Saunders decided he wasn’t good enough when he was 20/21. Thanks Ron.

Quite a few Mixers on here, myself included, have made the same point. Hwang looks more effective centrally than out wide. This was also argued by a Mixer who had seen Hwang playing in Germany.

It's similar with Podence. And was even more noticable with Jota. Both Bruno and Nuno seem fixated on this three forwards in the 3-4-3, where 2 of the forwards end up almost as wingers...with noone in the middle. Isnt' the idea of 3-4-3 that the wing backs provide the width? That's how it was in the Championship. For some reason, it's rarely worked out that way since then. Jonny is recently popping up centrally and scoring more prolifically than any of the forwards!

There is literally no point playing him wide or as an inverted forward in a three. Play off a Raul or Fabio or no point playing him. He is lost out wide.
