What's it about? A massive turkey dinner & lots of drinking!

Best holiday of the year.

Canvas your MP's to have same adopted in the UK - you can't have Black Friday without Thanksgiving.

I'm British - I thought it best to adopt the drinking nature of this particular holiday so as to integrate with the locals...

It's a Thursday, tomorrow is Friday. What better excuse for a drink? (Apart from it actually being Friday)

For those interested, (probably not many), Thanksgiving originated in Canada, and by the explorer Frobisher, and in the spring for surviving the long harsh northern winter and not for the harvest.
It has been seconded by the pussys in the South who wouldn't know anything about 'harsh'

Genuine question did someone invent it before Arthur Guinness because he was born in County Kildare?
Never tried it myself because I don't like stouts and porters.

Personally I'm celebrating the Black Country Friday, why have it once a year when you can have it every week!

Although I hear Police have had to intervene in Netherton High Street when shoppers go out of hand after the butcher reduced his stratchings to sixpence a bag

Good to see the UK getting into the Black Friday spirit.

Also good to see one of the last bastions of Britishness - orderly queuing being upheld.

Black Friday sales

He used to drink a version of it in (Convent Garden?) London before he leased his brewery, he took a 'bad' batch back with him because it got burnt as nobody would buy it.

St Patrick was also from England, well possibly Wales.
