Hopefully we come from Dublin with versions of Dirty Old Town or Rainy Night in Soho (easily changed to Wolvo) as new songs!
Will check out the Camden jukebox - no doubt we'll probably end up pinching a Celtic ditty or two.

Myself I'm arriving on Friday lunchtime with my Mom (visiting her sisters and family) and my Uncle (Celtic fan - taking me to Parkhead this season too). An afternoon/evening drinking in Finglas with the Dublin branch of my large family, who'll no doubt all turn up in Celtic colours, being joined by my lad and his other half when their flight gets in at tea-time.

Then up nice and early, Mom off visiting and me and my Uncle meeting my lad and his GF in The Camden, onto the match, a couple in some old Dublin haunts and back to Finglas again.

Gonna need next week off work I think....

Went to Celtic when we played them in Glasgow...no bother at all with the Celtic fans , even drank in 'bairds bar ' before the game.....the walk back into Glasgow was lively though passing through the Rangers areas with Celtic fans around us....

Going to Dublin Friday morning , going to bohemians Friday night being a football tourist....

Will be in the Camden Saturday as one of us in on duty so to speak..... looking forward to it.....see you all in there....

Dirty old town would be quality.
Play about with these lyrics between now and Saturday -

I met my love by the gas works wall (The South Bank wall)
Dreamed a dream by the old canal (down the Bilston Canal)
I kissed my girl by the factory wall (on Eve's Dancefloor)
Dirty old town
Dirty old town
Clouds are drifting across the moon (Molineux)
Cats are prowling on their beat (Wolves)
Spring's a girl from the streets at night (Floodlights glare across.......)
Dirty old town
Dirty old town
I heard a siren from the docks (Shout from the old North Bank)
Saw a train set the night on fire (Saw the Doog set the night on fire)
I smelled the spring on the smoky wind (hops from Banks's brewery)
Dirty old town
Dirty old town
I'm gonna make me a good sharp axe (Nuno made us a football team)
Shining steel tempered in the fire (won the league sent us higher and higher)
I'll chop you down like an old dead tree (The **** went down like an old dead tree)
Dirty old town
Dirty old town
I met my love by the gas works wall
Dreamed a dream by the old canal
I kissed my girl by the factory wall
Dirty old town

If anyones not going, the game is showing as available on Viaplay Sports. It’s a subscription site, but usually they let you sign up for a free week trial. I’ve used it before and it’s alright. Probably not worth the £14.99 a month so make sure you cancel!
Just looked, and the free trial doesn't appear to include the sports channels.

I've always thought that Rose Tattoo by the Dropkick Murphys could be adaptable. Maybe a Wolves tattoo. Even mentions black and gold!

The pictures tell the story
This life has many shades
I'd wake up every morning and before I'd start each day
I'd take a drag from last night's cigarette
That smoldered in it's tray
Down a little something and then be on my way
I traveled far and wide
And laid this head in many ports
I was guided by a compass
I saw beauty to the north
I drew the tales of many lives
And wore the faces of my own
I had these memories all around me
So I wouldn't be alone
Some may be from showing up
Others are from growing up
Sometimes I was so messed up and didn't have a clue
I ain't winning no one over
I wear it just for you
I've got your name written here
In a rose tattoo
In a rose tattoo
In a rose tattoo
I've got your name written here
In a rose tattoo
This one's for the mighty sea
Mischief, gold and piracy
This ones for the man that raised me
Taught me sacrifice and bravery
This one's for our favorite game
Black and gold, we wave the flag
This one's for my family name
With pride I wear it to the grave
Some may be from showing up
Others are from growing up
Sometimes I was so messed up and didn't have a clue
I ain't winning no one over
I wear it just for you
I've got your name written here
In a rose tattoo
In a rose tattoo
In a rose tattoo
I've got your name written here
In a rose tattoo
In a rose tattoo
In a rose tattoo
I've got your name written here
In a rose tattoo
This one means the most to me
Stays here for eternity
A ship that always stays the course
An anchor for my every choice
A rose that shines down from above
I signed and sealed these words in blood
I heard them once, sung in a song
It played again and we sang along
You'll always be there with me
Even if you're gone
You'll always have my love
Our memory will live on
Some may be from showing up
Others are from growing up
Sometimes I was so messed up and didn't have a clue
I ain't winning no one over

Apparently it's on Viaplay Sports 1. I have that channel as part of my "package". Happy days!

Wolverhampton scans the same as Dirty old town. So long as you don't mind the stresses being a bit out.

I did think the same but like the Dirty Old Town as it's evocative of days of old and our industrial heritage, maybe finishing off with Wol-verrrr-hamp-tunnnnn x 3

I went to a Celtic friendly at Lincoln a few seasons back, it was kicking off all over the place. I think the police had to get support in from Nottinghamshire.
It had nothing to do with the good people of Lincoln either.
A totally rare occurrence.

Crikey !
Good luck with getting that going on the Southbank. We only manage a couple of lines of "Those were the days" and we're done.

Good song though. Saw the Dubliners in the days of Ronnie Drew. They really were a class act.

Quite like "Black Velvet Band" tbh.

"So come all you jolly young fellows
A warning take by me
When you are out on the town, me lads
Beware of the pretty Colleens"

See you in the Camden.

Anyone else got an email from ticketmaster moving their tickets? I was sat in block 135 now moved me to the side of the pitch in 106. Hopefully some other wanderers fans are sat there…

A few of us in there early on Saturday morning to set up flags, etc.

Hope we do a good job.:)
I’m naturally predisposed to offering to come
And help but honestly we’ll be ****ed when we land, we’re 40 mins from the Camden. So it just wouldn’t happen. Gl though

They've moved a lot of Celtic fans as well, poor sales apparently, blocks/sections been closed.

How many have we sold? Anyone know?
The club said on the site that 'thousands' will be making the trip to Dublin, as they warned us not to sign sectarian songs...

No surprise tickets are struggling. £30 was only the cheapest ones as well! Remarkably bad pricing from the organisers, clearly trying to milk Celtic in Ireland. Kind of glad it hasn't worked for them.
