I tend to agree. This is our first cup final. Win this and it’s on

Long time since 1960 & 1949 but we still believe the spirit is with us. Gary bringing us cup glory 64 years onMaybe it is time again to raise the dead in Wolverhampton to watch the FA Cup?
would have preferred the quad better atmosphereMight as well have had the Quad
It's a waste with the pricing.Real opportunity. Midweek games aren’t ideal for young families or the fans who travel from far away. Would hope for a decent crowd though.
We've won it twice in mine and I'd love to see Maximilian emulate Billy Wright and Bill Slater and lift the trophy for The Wolves once again.I was 23 months old when we won it in 1960. Can't say that I remember it, but I can say that Wolves have won the Cup in my lifetime.
Hows ticket sales going?
Great minds and all thatI was just going to ask the same
Ercall and Arctic. With a week to go, similar to how the Brentford Cup tickets were selling, when I had a quick look yesterday. Probably be 25/26k at kick-off.Hows ticket sales going?

Hopefully, Tony, think they will. Sales should increase next week, helped by fans buying at the ticket office on Sunday. Not sure how many fans Brighton are bringing, 1.5 to 2k perhaps?Hopefully it picks up after Sunday Phil.
Midweek is frustrating as a travelling fan as it means taking holiday from work and arriving home in the early hours, with the added bonus of trying to guess where they want to shut on the M6 for the trip home this week. Being a season ticket holder the FA cup also normally offers me a chance to bring the kids to the game, obviously a midweek and in term time stops this as well.Real opportunity. That shutting of a section of the motorway is a pain in the proverbials and often results in putting at least 30 minutes extra on the journey time as you crawl round a diversion stuck in a convoy of heavy port traffic. The only saving grace is that if the team have won you just about remain cheerful although the thought of that early morning alarm does linger in the background.Midweek is frustrating as a travelling fan as it means taking holiday from work and arriving home in the early hours, with the added bonus of trying to guess where they want to shut on the M6 for the trip home this week. Had seen reports a while ago that Brighton had sold about 1.7k.Hopefully, Tony, think they will. Sales should increase next week, helped by fans buying at the ticket office on Sunday. Not sure how many fans Brighton are bringing, 1.5 to 2k perhaps?
I read something yesterday that they had sold all their allocation.Had seen reports a while ago that Brighton had sold about 1.7k.
If so that's decent support, credit to them.I read something yesterday that they had sold all their allocation.
If you are really lucky they divert you through an area with even more road works and temporary lights. That shutting of a section of the motorway is a pain in the proverbials and often results in putting at least 30 minutes extra on the journey time as you crawl round a diversion stuck in a convoy of heavy port traffic. That is truly appalling. The train infrastructure is broken. The 2 trains I had to London for Spurs (although I had to cancel going, ticket in Spurs' end anyway), both were cancelled.Taking the ****. Fans being treated like cash cows once again ...

Unfortunately not happening while Tory donors and their pals continue to skim off the top. That is truly appalling. The train infrastructure is broken. The 2 trains I had to London for Spurs (although I had to cancel going, ticket in Spurs' end anyway), both were cancelled.
Surely it's time to renationalise the railways.
Think there are 7 train services nationalised at the moment including LNER who are messing the Leeds fans up. Also Network Rail which includes Railtrack is mostly publicly owned. Remember British Rail didn't have the best reputation either. Just seems to be mismanagement whoever runs the transport in this country.Unfortunately not happening while Tory donors and their pals continue to skim off the top.
Been the same for donkeys years. People at the top don’t care. My friend works for network rail and in his first 3 months he was asked by his manager if he had booked any time off… He said no. Then was told to take two weeks off on the sick fully paid. Wtf is that all about.Think there are 7 train services nationalised at the moment including LNER who are messing the Leeds fans up. Without getting political, the 6 have had to be bailed out because the private companies were so ****! None have not be nationalised for the 30 years since Major sold them off. They’ve all cost us tax payers a fortune in bail outs. Put simply, Major sold them off so they didn’t cost the tax payer, yet it’s gone wrong. To blame nationalisation would be massively inaccurateThink there are 7 train services nationalised at the moment including LNER who are messing the Leeds fans up. ... but the rolling stock IS much nicer than in the BR days.... As well as 'the bosses', a shout out for the unions that constantly hit services with strikes - for quite well paid drivers. (At least a lorry driver has to know where he is going and steer the thing - not issues a train driver has to deal with!)Without getting political, the 6 have had to be bailed out because the private companies were so ****! Back to football
Funny you only highlight the well paid? Obviously the employees that are on much lower wages and whose terms are being eroded should just bend over and take it! Just accepting things you don’t like is what got us in two world wars eh? I’d much rather live in a country of fighters, but hey lets hope wolves show some bottle against Brighton... but the rolling stock IS much nicer than in the BR days....
