Villa are not and have never been proper rivals of ours. If anything, I always think that historically villa and ourselves are the more stellar clubs of the Midlands, where as blues and albion tend to be the smaller, less illustrious dregs of the area, irrespective of recent history.
Cannot stand Arsenal and their sheer arrogance, would love to see Villa turn them over tbh.

I do like Arsenal under Venger but of all the midland clubs outside of Wolves, Villa is the only other club I generally wish success to. So:

I don't have anywhere near the same dislike for the Villa as I have for Albion and Blues. In fact this year I'm grateful they did me a huge favour by ridding the competition of Albion and Liverpool. Cup final day, best day of the football calendar. I hate Arsenal and dislike Villa, but TBH I don't really have anything against the Brummie lot. We both share a mutual dislike of Albion and Blouse, so things are good

I hope Villa win because if the area gets its first cup winner for 28 years, it can only be a good thing for football in the Midlands, which has for so long been a no-man's land and woefully neglected in the media. And I hate Arsenal.

Unfortunately, I don't think Villa will win; the London lot will 2-1.

Just traveled down with my villa supporting mate, great laugh on the way down, mentioned I was a Wolves fan and got a lot of well wishers and many stating it was a massive shame they we weren't able to make the playoffs.
