Utterly tinpot security, as we saw last Sunday. The only people they've tried to stop getting where they have authority to go is the police.
Mowbray confirmed that he believes it was a racist comment that caused Bacuna to go to the referee.More trouble for them coming

Those ‘so called’ fans around him should have reported it straight away! That fan should have been arrested on the spot
He was identified by Bacuna, so presumably arrested on suspicion. Haven't heard anything to confirm any arrest. That fan should have been arrested on the spot
My lad and his mates had a token search at the turnstiles last week, to avoid it I simply stepped one pace to the left and entered via the next turnstile with no search whatsoever.Utterly tinpot security, as we saw last Sunday. And their comms trying to dismiss it as lies.

You are correct but following last week's events on national TV this will attract more attention than it would normally. They can't be held responsible for one idiot racist any more that we could be when we had one. Just depends how the stewarding actually dealt with it, from what we saw the stewards just seem to watch, I mean a player shouldn't need to be pointing this out.
Banging headache..?Which is why people get in with a smoke bomb.
By contrast, I remember the security at Watford for a Boro game I went to with my wife. Lad in front of me gets padded down. Security guard asks him to open his zipped up inside pocket of his puffer jacket, and out comes a packet of white tablets. Lad was escorted away, never to see that game.

Self proclaimed "best fans in the world" don't you know...
With his hands up!Grown men setting about a bit of a kid ban em for life
West Brom: Worrying takeover update shared as Wolves fallout continues
The events that unfolded at The Hawthorns during the FA Cup tie between West Brom and Wolves could have a negative impact on the takeover situation.www.westbromnews.co.uk
Oh dear, how sad, never mind.....
There's still a lot of focus on the home corner, I watched the TV coverage and I can sort of see why as they have very little attention to where the real trouble was. Even in the Halfords though, and what seems likely made up stuff, that's not making dozens of fans run on the pitch from the Brummie Rd.They're still trying to say it's because of an idiot in the wrong section.
It wasn't that idiot that decided to pick a fight with stewards and assault police, or invade the pitch, or throw things at players, but hey, that doesn't fit the narrative.
This is the full video of the guy who got into the stadium. He actually walked back out before kick off (wise decision). This must be the friendliest human on the planet. Send him over to Moscow, he'd walk into the Kremlin with a cheeky smile, befriend Putin, and Russia won't be out of Ukraine within a few minutes.

Took their bloody time!Man arrested after Blues' Bacuna racially abused - Man arrested after Blues' Bacuna racially abused
A season ticket holder that was clearly pointed out by Bacuna at the time of the alleged abuse. What is wrong with the stewarding and policing at that wretched ground that he wasn't dealt with immediately?Took their bloody time!
Free agency really destroyed that for us in the states, in my opinion. When I grew up in the 70s, players typically stayed on their teams for a decent amount of time. Loyalty went both ways. Now? Not only to players move around like crazy, but the teams move too! (thinking mainly of baseball and football rivalries)while i agree with you, and i’m sure we’ve mentioned this before, sport here, particularly football is tribal.
The franchise model in the US and Canada takes away from that for me.
I tried to look at this and as far as I can work out the idiot at Wolves who abused Ferdinand was arrested on the spot at the time. So not sure why this has taken a few days. In the same was as you say that in a properly run stadium it shouldn't need a player to point out a fan to the stewards.A season ticket holder that was clearly pointed out by Bacuna at the time of the alleged abuse. He's no more under suspicion four days after the fact as he was on Saturday afternoon.
Did the police have to wait until the referee's report? Does Bacuna have better hearing than the fans standing right next to the bloke in question? That section of the ground have very recent previous - surely the stewarding and policing would have been within earshot. I'd have had my men (albeit jacket fillers) focused on that one area and met with the police to the same effect.
West Brom are going to be hit hard by the authorities. Their ground security management are going to have to be investigated with a view to a complete overhaul. They just don't look like they know their job.
Tinpot.
When there was an AH racially abusing Tammy Abraham from the SBU fans not only reported it but testified at the trial.I tried to look at this and as far as I can work out the idiot at Wolves who abused Ferdinand was arrested on the spot at the time. Lots in the press about 1 fan at the Albion Blues game.
Any updates regarding arrests of Albion fans following our game with them? It’s all gone a bit quiet, hope it’s not being brushed under the carpet.
I would be content with us administering periodic thrashings in various Cups.... They can focus on their real rivals..... Smallsall....Quickly turning into Port Vale this lot, absolutely irrelevant club so just cause trouble, long time before we this lot again with a bit of luck.
Oh no, I would love knocking them out the cup annuallyQuickly turning into Port Vale this lot, absolutely irrelevant club so just cause trouble, long time before we see this lot again with a bit of luck.
I was thinking the same. It is now nearly two weeks since the game, and as far as I am aware no action has been taken by the authorities.
