Thanks to the best fans in the world, this fund raiser is going so well, even in the first hour and it is better than we could have ever imagined.
Please give what ever you can and please don’t stop when and if we reach the target. The best outcome from this tragic episode for poor Raul is if we can donate a sizeable amount to a charity in his name.

Hard to imagine at the moment, that something good could possibly ever come out of this awful time, but let us try to bring some light out of the darkness for Raul.

Wolves would have gladly funded this, but we insisted that we do it this way and to have our fans 100% involved in financing it, and indeed choosing what we have for his message.
Raul will be informed of the fans involvement so he will certainly know how much he means to them all.

The reason behind this will be valued much more than in money terms, this is to show the sheer human commitment of the fans, expressing their sincere feelings towards a player that they love.

Along with others, it has been a real privilege to be involved and to witness first hand the outpouring of love and generosity of spirit shown with this. I am convinced that Wolves fans are unsurpassed in the world with these qualities.
