The QF against Spain was the turning point. 1-0 down with a few minutes left, not looking like scoring, but finding a way. Brilliant stuff.

Well done to them!! Thoroughly deserved it and those scenes at the end are what the game is all about. Chuffed for them all

Also, the women's game is night and day from 10-15 years ago. As enjoyable (and not!) as any men's match. Any detractors, shame on you.

Absolutely. Over 87,000 fans in there. A proper loud and emotional celebration. They fully deserved it.

Fabulous, a team full of guts and personality to win it as they did. Toone's goal was sheer class, at any level.

Sympathy for Magull, didn't deserve to be on the losing side and Germany completely lost their focus when she was withdrawn. Chloe Kelly living and bleeding it in those final 10 minutes.

Proper winners' mentality.

Just fantastic.

It’s wonderful how far the women’s game has come. I manage three girls in my son’s Under 13’s side and to see how they (and a whole generation) have been inspired by this England team has been brilliant.

Leah Williamson and Lucy Bronze are absolute ballers.

This can be a lesson to the male footballers to show their personality more, less of the clichés and soundbites in interviews. Clearly the women are much more relaxed and surely helps in their performance.

A word for Sarina Wiegman, how special is she? So composed, so sharp, two Euro wins and a World Cup Final, she bolstered that team and perfected a gameplan, never panicked, even after the slight falter against Spain. For all the talent and backbone on the field, she was the sculptress. Deserves massive respect.

Just shows you at the elite level when the teams are quite well matched, the difference a quality coach/manager can make.
