I just cant see us scoring in this game at all. All our attacking impetus has gone. It is really galling and frustrating as things were looking so good when we won at Spurs. Now lost all of our attack and just dont have any replacements or proper competition for them.

Nah I'm good. Sarabia will have something to say to that.

Too bad we sold Corbeanu for pennies. He would have been useful for that game. Already scored in La Liga.
Perhaps he will drive it to them.

Entitlement to have a club with the correct size squad number?

Bloody stop it……

Having a competitive squad with the correct number of players to rest and Rotate isn’t entitlement, it is how a professional team is run and you ensure professional players welfare.

if you think that this is entitled, then the issue here is you!!!! As you don’t understand professional sport!

Give it a ****ing rest will you? You're tiring.

We were on the limit on finances. If we increased the number of players, the quality reduces... massively. Then the 1st teamers are okay, and the back up poor... instead of having a good 1st team, with a few decent back up options, and hope that too many injuries don't effect that.

You have no idea what you're talking about, every time you complain about the squad size and depth, so please stop it.

But you're only blaming Jeff and Fosun, when it's public knowledge they had a list of players to buy and Gary said he wouldn't use them. So that's not just on Fosun. Last half, we had a much larger squad and Gary still played it like a small squad.

They've spent a ton of money to get us where we are. They're trying not to break rules. Of course the jury is still out whether breaking the rules matter or not, but it's not a secret.

Gary was told to let two go to bring one in, he did. One didn’t come in, Gary since Jan has not said he refused a player.

He has said he let Sasa go to bring one in and it didn’t happen.

I think Fraser has done okay. I'd like to see some crosses put in to him. He thrives on those. Hopefully Sarabia can swing in some good ones in the second half.

So can we afford to risk cunha in the cup now? Hope we don't rush him. Nightmare isn't it!

We reduced and the issues in the summer because the club financially was being run badly in that sense.

They saved it, but you need depth. This sport at the top level needs options and rotation. We don’t have that.

No one has ever started a game of football at "100%". It's a myth. It's always a risk playing anyone that they could get injured.

We have to play our best players.
Not when they’re clearly already carrying a hamstring injury, (Netos leg strapped) just too big a risk injury will get worse no surprise he didnt last till halftime

Would it be in poor taste if the crowd belted out a rendition of Si Señor any time during the match for old time's sake?

Somebody is gonna have to explain this issue with a back four at some point. We have conceded goals for fun all season(43) and looked a calamity at the back with a back three so why is it the same **** gets spouted every time we go to a four as if we are worse. We simply aren't. The harsh reality is that Kilman is not the 40 million quid defender people seem to think he is.
Quite simple really.. we win way way more points with 3 at the back. And clearly, are also capable of scoring more based on last season vs this season and previous seasons also.

I guess the real question is, with the facts as they are, why would anyone but our opposition be in favour of us playing a back 4?

They have been forced into this FFP situation by buying the likes of Fabio, guedes and sasa. None of whom want to be here. But they could have refused sasa and Fabio to leave on loan until they had found replacements.

Small squad, players being played to the limit. Injuries that other clubs can get away with we cant and we look sunk now for this season in an attacking sense unless some of the kids come good.
Reckon we need to left GON know, tell the lads to book their jollies for next week, seasons done.

The coach was offered players and declined. So how's that Fosun's fault?

And LOL at not understanding the sport. Absolutely pathetic response.

Dude, just noticed your last point properly.

Didn’t say you don’t understand the sport, you do understand the sport.

I said professional sport in regards to having enough players to rotate and rest them to protect their welfare. We have now lost and caused multiple injuries due to overuse.

Not entitled to want to protect the players is what I meant.

Sorry if that didn’t come across, was worried you took greater offence to an inference that wasn’t there or even close to ever being said intentionally.

Who was lined up that Gary said no to?
I read somewhere that there was a south American player all done and dusted in January but we pulled the plug when the agent decided to double his fee at the last second (As in the agents fee, not the transfer fee). Surprised it wasn't mentioned on this forum at the time. Was a bit of a click bait article, so probably nonsense. Maybe that was the player

Too much graft with too little craft means teams spend a lot of time running and chasing.
I think that when everybody is fit, we've got a good balance of graft/craft up front but at the moment, it feels like some hamstrings are being hamstrung.

Great pressing by Lemina sets up a good chance but we were too sloppy to get a shot off - everyone wants to set someone else up rather than take on the responsibility
