Totally agree. We desperately need more quality and we bring on Chiqinho and Silva and Ait Nouri - average age about 19 and none of them game changers. Lage has got his hands tied till the end of the season and tonight highlights that top 6 is way beyond us.

Ultimately that’s where we’re at, just short of the top 6/7.

It’s telling time and time again this season, same pattern vs top 6/7 times 0-1.

Unless we invest, we cannot go any further. It’s frustrating, almost heartbreaking, to see us so close whilst also knowing this is where our journey ends; we’re at the summit. The investment required for the next step isn’t going to come.

I’m going to try and come to terms with that tonight and just try, try, try to enjoy where we are.

100% brought in on false pretences. Won’t back him, won’t improve just take the few quid we now make on tx fees and send it back to China.

Hard to find any positives in that. Clueless in possession and clumsy in defence. Just how sloppy are we in keeping the ball? It’s getting tiresome watching aimless punts, giveaways and falling over when a fair challenge is made.
Chiquinho was energetic but lacked the pace I was led to believe he had. Semedo is quicker. Why the **** doesn’t Fabio shoot…? Sa’s antics cost us a goal but he’s been brilliant this season so it’s hard to grumble at him.
Midfield though…just wtf? We were operating on a one man (Neves) midfield. Dendonker, I’m sure he’s a lovely fella but geez Louise. Didn’t do anything wrong but was so far from involved, I just don’t see the point.
