I really felt old with you mentioning in your excellent thread that Steve Kindon is 73 and Peter Daniel is 68 as I had their Shoot ! , Goal and Tiger pictures on my bedroom wall as a youngster. I still have an autographed Steve Kindon photo in the kitchen ( not being married, I can do what the hell I want decoratively wise !!! ) as I have a wall full of Wolves players of the past on one side of it !!!!

Then watching Jack Hinshelwood play for Brighton and being able to recall putting the sticker of his Grandad Paul in my Panani albums and also the fact that Eddie Gray's Grandson plays for Leeds I thought " Bloody hell I am knocking on ! "

I have the same feelings about some of the players. Started watching Wolves in 1971 as a very young boy and remember Steve Kindon and Peter Daniel well. The Wolf man being 61 got me, really didn't fell that long ago we saw him playing for us

Happy birthday today to

Rohan Ricketts (41)

and a posthumous birthday to

Jesse Pye (1919-1984 - 90 goals in 188 appearances 1946-1952)

and not Wolves related but happy 42nd birthday to Sir Gary Pratt. Cricket fans out there will know who I'm talking about!

It has just dawned on me that it will be 30 years next December when we saw John de Wolf and Don Goodman make their Wolves debuts in a 1-0 home win over Notts County during Graham Taylor's reign !!!!!!

Edited: as merged into birthdays thread -

John Barnwell happy birthday

It was a rollercoaster ride in the few years he was with us, but won us our last major trophy.
Who knows how good a manager he would have been if it wasn't for the car accident.
