Who would you support if you HAD to follow another team?

..........In each of the following regions -

a) Midlands (east and west combined)

b) North-west & Yorkshire combined

c) Landon

I only have one football love and thats Wolves, but if I had too......

a) Stoke City - always had a soft spot irrespective of their dislike of us and their current style of football. Great fans, I appreciate many have jumped on the wagon but I remember them from the 70's. Those who stuck with the club through the 90's when every other midland club had financial support, deserve a medal. Still even then, extremely vocal and partisan.

b) Close call Man City and Everton - prior to the City money, always liked their support too, ok in the shadow of Manure but still a proper club with dead loyal fans. Same as Everton, though their recent attempts at being mutes has sort of detracted me from liking them so much.

c) Spurs - again, love their support, ok they can be fickle but potential monster. Love their ground too, being dead close knit. Play lovely football and always have tried to do so the proper way.

Wolves, with our crappy wide open stadium, midfieldless football over the years are the things I dislike immensely about us, but I love em.

Answers can be one liners if preferred.

Don't usually answer these type of questions but HAD TO swung me.

a) Burton A****n. Live here so that's easy.

b) Sheffied United. Proper club and set of fans. I also dislike Wednesday.

c) West Ham. Not much I like about London but I do like the East End and the people that live there.

I honestly dont think I could support another Midlands side.

Manchester City - Missus has a ST and her family have been going for years. Slowly becoming my second team anyway as I get to use their Season Tickets when I want.

Tottenham - Always had a soft spot for them.

Kidderminster (local side now)
Wrexham (saw them a fair bit in my youth)
Barnet (Lived between Arsenal and Barnet for years. Know a lot of Arsenal fans, but couldn't jump on the bandwagon)

Think I'd have a thing for the underdog.

Because the way the game and greed has gone it would have been easier to have chucked in the towel by now because the other teams wouldnt have been in my blood.

Well if I had to:

Midlands: Nottingham Forest
N - NW of us: Manchester United (if I really really had to)
Landan: Tottenham Hotspur

Interesting that many have the same teams!

Well I reckon it shows an eye for quality and appreciation of the finer aspects of kicking a bag of wind about....and if that's 'daft' I'm as daft as they come!:vollkommenauf::D

What's with the Forest love in?

Midlands - Leicester.

London - West Ham / Palace. Probably West Ham though.

North West - Tranmere.

North East - Gateshead.

What's wrong with them?....a good club, no? I'm actually quite saddened by their current struggle in the Championship.:dong:

Football and nature make Wolves and Forest to be a good match.

Yep, they've struggled for too long. I'd like to see them back in PL.

AFC Telford - Although I don't particularly like Telford and their supporters, very similar club to Chester and helped us out a lot when we needed it. Rather support them than any of the bigger clubs round the midlands.

Man United - I have a soft spot for them due to the amount of placcy scousers round here.

AFC Wimbeldon - Same reasons as Telford.

Sunderland - Purely based on our record against them in the Prem. And our Jody Craddock love in.

Shrewsbury - already do so anyway.

Man Utd - always had a soft spot for them as they were the only team who seemed to be able to beat Liverpool when I was a kid. I still like them now as they go about things in the right way and play beautiful football.

West Ham - I used to live in the East End and they're a 'proper' team I think. Or Leyton Orient; for the same reasons - in fact I very nearly ended up living in a top-floor flat directly overlooking their ground a few years back and was looking forward to free live football thru the winters.

This is one question I have no idea what the answer is. I never remember choosing to support Wolves, so can't imagine who I would support if they didn't exist. This isn't a superfan answer, I just genuinely have no idea.
