After the crowd fiasco the overriding emotion is relief that we got to full time.

That said, it was pretty comfortable wasn't it?
Really thought we'd do them 4 or more after Cunha's goal. They were tired and we were as fresh as daisies. They were downcast and we were buzzing.

That break benefitted West Brom and not us.

More trouble in here, Police in concourse of the Rainbow, for people moaning about away fans in their end , there are dozens of wolves in here, we got down to exit the ground but have been sent back upto the terrace and wait. I’m just sitting reading the posts, watching the celebrations.
They never laid a glove on us on the pitch

I thought we managed the game really well. Doyle is becoming one hell of a player. Ultimately, we have Cunha and Neto, and they have a Salford reject. There's the main difference.

I imagine this sentiment is shared by many of you, but I just love this team. The current group of players really are fabulous. We’ve got flare with Neto and Cunha, grit with Lemina and Gomes, the metronome that is Doyle (who by the way loves playing here), young players coming through we can get behind as a fan base and the old head of Dawson whose been there and done it. Also let’s not forget a shout out to Semedo who has been sensational and captain fantastic Max.

I really have fallen back in love with the club after a year or two of dross and seemingly no effort or pride from the players in wearing the shirt.
Couldn't agree more. This is as special as it was under Nuno when the spirit was great and Raul was at his peak.

Uninspiring performance really. We just had a bit more quality and control. But we really have to up the performance levels to get anything from United.

Still we are in the next round that's the main thing. Let's hope for a nice easy home draw.
No, the main thing is the boys won a very important derby.

Now back to regularly scheduled programming. Hopefully this is a bonding experience for the lads.

No pleasing some people.

This was a tricky away cup tie.

We came, kept a clean sheet, scored two goals, after the first 10mins we looked comfortable.

It was a textbook performance for a PL team against a Chump team away.

We’re in the next round.

More bottles thrown from there at the end of the match too
They were throwing bottles at Wolves players all game. Yet their fans are saying that Wolves fans caused the trouble. It's a shame because we could easily have got two or three more with the momentum we had.

Now all the talk is about Wolves top boys in the West Brom seats. Nonsense.

Never in doubt, won it without getting out of 2nd gear. Kept our shape and hit them on the break. Job done, kings of the Black Country.

Totally agree. During our long years in the Champs, we did much the same several times in cup ties against Premier League teams. Would put in a load of effort, get the crowd really behind the team, loads of huff and puff, but ultimately get picked off by some clinical finishing from the top division team. Recall the likes of Spurs and Boro doing exactly the same to us - and they weren't even intense local derbies, which is always a leveller.

Doyle is a wolf
Brilliant stuff. Chirewa looked good with a great ball for Cunhas chance. **** on the Albion

Chirewa is a quality player, he deserves his chance and is so far taking it with both hands and running with it.

To come on in a derby at that time shows real faith in him by the gaffer.

Well Nelly was in the Wolves end, luckily for them!

Brilliant Wolves.

The **** have also managed to embarrass themselves on national TV.
They are looking at a big fine.

Jeff should pay it for them and take Fellows in exchange.

There's a 'both sides' narrative going round though. Albion fans of course saying it's all our fault, neutrals saying we're all a disgrace.
Why is it Wolves fault? If in fact it was Wolves fans in their end, which is all speculation.

West Brom issue the tickets.
West Brom control who they let into the ground.
The trouble was in the West Brom end.

I cannot see how Wolverhampton Wanderers, as a club, have any responsibility.

All their idiots came out for this game. If you watch the different videos from fans, they're nearly all 50+ in age. Probably haven't thrown a punch since the 90s.
Surprised they can even raise a fist at that age

I'm guessing some Wolves fans had the audacity to celebrate the 2nd goal.
