Exactly, could have just been a massive flare up with the police and it escalated. Apparently something was chucked at Doc and hit a kid instead.

BBC saying that's where the home players families are sitting, which is why they ran over there smartish.

That feeling of relief and ecstacy is absolutely wonderful you know. Eleven years of hurt after that 5-1 capitulation, I joined this forum five days after that game. I don't care what league they're in. ****ing get in.

Now they can have a taste of their own medicine for the next ten years while they rot in the Championship.

Bull****.

I grew up going to games against Albion home and away.

Very little if any trouble. People worked together, went to school together and were often in the same extended families. Your football club was a matter of banter, not violence.

It's an invention of the 70s that has metastasised.

Let's not further the myth.
That's my recollection from my match going days 40 odd years ago.

Wins a win hopefully they abandon the game and we win 0-2

Sore losers, can’t accept we will win there.

Small time club and thugs. Sparrow head Morons

Sadly, if you believe what some folk on here posted, definitely not so. Absolutely the last place l'd go in the home end.
It’s idiotic. Absolutely crazy. But surely they’d have been discovered by 80th minute?

West Brom problem then.
I’m here, in the rainbow, the trouble started as soon as Cunha scored, a few bottles were thrown and then about 20 Wolves fans stood up and started jumping about, then pandemonium as the stand erupted, and the Brummie road came over past the absolutely useless stewards, no fighting now, just clearing the pitch. Loads of Wolves dotted about in here too

Not how I remember the late 70s early 80s. Not defending it but definitely happened.

Jesus, all the vibes are that this wil be abandoned and it will be a while before they come to a decision about the result.

There's always been aggro at the BCD. It's always been ferocious. But never remember a match being stopped. However, if you remember scenarios like 2007, then you know it's a tinderbox this match.

lol…so under no circumstances you could envisage Wolves fans in an away end? :tearsofjoy:

That’s made me smile. Thanks :relieved:
You’re welcome. I think it’s odd that it didn’t kick off after the first goal of its wolves fans in the home end.

But it’s a Albion problem. They control the tickets. The problem is in their end.

They do, but when they're in fans hands anything can happen. Plus we all know about comps, sponsors, wives and girlfriends, workmates and under the counter tickets.

I got offered 2 East Stand tickets this week....would have been great if i wasn't in Australia :)

The joy has pretty much evaporated now.

If we ever play them again it'll be behind closed doors.

Heavy sanctions incoming.
Sanctions for them not us we ay done anything wrung. Those selling tickets to Wolves fans maybe face jail time for provoking disorder

Not our best performance but into the next round we go

I’ve been in the old South Bank as a kid with my parents in the early 70’s and we had to get escorted out because it wasn’t safe to remain with all the missiles flying. This game has proper hatred unfortunately.

Of course it is. You could see a few lads getting a kicking.
I’m unsure though tbh. We’re only hearing the narrative from the comms team. Could be several lads are tanked, spewing bile and being offensive, someone spoken up to tell them to pipe down as there are kids around and they kicked off. All guesswork really, but I am not sure how wolves fans could get into the home end - all ticket sales surely scrutinised much more closely. I dunno though. Could be anything kicking off - the fact there are still issues suggests it’s their own Nesbit ******s fighting amongst themselves.

Apparently it started when a benny threw something at Dawson and it hit a ball boy.

Just hope it doesn’t really kick off at full time, outside ground
From experience of many matches there, even when we lose, it's tasty outside. After a win, it'll be even tastier!

Obviously this doesn’t condone behaviour but starting a game at 11:45am doesn’t stop people drinking or make them behave better. It means people are up earlier, less sleep, less food, same amount of boozing/sniffing.
