It was a week of very, very few points and correct scores, but a whole sugar mountain of prestige for our winner ChignalWolf, who proves that perseverance pays off by collecting his first ever Weekly Award - congrats, Sir Chignal! 24 points was enough to take the round, with two correct scores from the summit of La Liga as Chignal identified a 0-0 for Girona v Sociedad and a 1-1 for the Madrids; that's 6 correct scores in the past 3 weeks for him, all from Euro leagues, and it means Chignal is the early leader after one week of the Plum Cup.

Huge Of Sharjah returned to form to claim 2nd place with 23 points, with one correct score and points from 10 fixtures, but nothing from asterisks - that's an achievement of sorts. JadeWolf, Chris H and Evthewolf all finished on 21 with one correct score apiece. Rincewind and Mrs Spoon were the only players to hit a 10-pointer this round, and only one of them actually exists, showing what a difficult week it was.

It was a week of very, very few points and correct scores, but a whole sugar mountain of prestige for our winner ChignalWolf, who proves that perseverance pays off by collecting his first ever Weekly Award - congrats, Sir Chignal! 24 points was enough to take the round, with two correct scores from the summit of La Liga as Chignal identified a 0-0 for Girona v Sociedad and a 1-1 for the Madrids; that's 6 correct scores in the past 3 weeks for him, all from Euro leagues, and it means Chignal is the early leader after one week of the Plum Cup.

Huge Of Sharjah returned to form to claim 2nd place with 23 points, with one correct score and points from 10 fixtures, but nothing from asterisks - that's an achievement of sorts. JadeWolf, Chris H and Evthewolf all finished on 21 with one correct score apiece. Rincewind and Mrs Spoon were the only players to hit a 10-pointer this round, and only one of them actually exists, showing what a difficult week it was.

Special Mentions of the week go to Chignal (Girona), Contrarian (Everton), and Huge (Brest) - yes, fate decreed I really did get to write that last one, god bless France - but, in the words of Connor MacLeod, "There can be only one!" and that one is Frank Lincoln, who predicted Wolves to defeat Chelsea 4-2.
