A nail-biting finish to the week where the top two performers were separated by a single correct score, but ultimately Purplepault69 denied Contrarian that rarest of rarities, two awards in a row. The Purple Prince collects the third award of his career, his first since season one, and he really has been in astonishing form of late; this round's 39 points were pruned with the aid of four correct scores, one doubled, and that's now 89 points in the past 3 weeks. That score is bettered only by Contrarian, with an incredible 95 points over 3 weeks - this round he also rattled in 39, with three correct, from 12 of 15 fixtures, proving that he can play on a Sunday as well as a Saturday.

WolvesAndCows, making up for last week, can count himself unfortunate to only be in 3rd place with 38 points, a total which would have won half of the rounds played so far this season. Cows got 3 correct, with one doubled, with points from 10 fixtures. Chris H got two correct, one doubled, on his way to 35 points - significant in the title race - whilst overnight leader MelbourneWolf got 34 points from three correct, one doubled. The Wolf In The North got two correct, both with asterisks, the lucky pup, for 34 points and was denied the asterisk hat-trick by Brentford's third goal.
