I might revise this when I’ve watched whole game back, but…
I could only watch 25 mins of this game, start of 2nd half, and saw the goal.
So, in that limited timeframe, really noticed Neves’ corners. Obviously the goal, but he dropped at least 3 more in exactly the kind of spot you score corners from. 8 yards out, front or back post. More of this please.
However, if he’d always taken all the corners, there would never have been a Derby thunder*******.

Always been outside the box because of the potential for a shot, but his corners are vicious, there's so much movement on the ball that they can cause all kind of problems (as we saw perfectly proven against Palace). Would we have scored more from corners had he been on them rather than waiting for the loose ball??

Before today though ,when neves has took corners previously they have been poor though..

We been poor at corners since Raul injury....I think it isn't just down to the delivery though ...today we had Costa Dawson kilman and toti who are a threat....4 option keeps the opposition guessing.....it's about threat and delivery......

But it could also be that it a weakness for villa....as they are the first team who have looked weak at them ....the stats say they are one of the worst teams at corners...

Any booing during GSTK?
She sang it really well and plenty joined in . Showed us in a decent light regardless of personal feelings about the coronation

Peeps like me who are 'republicans' probably mostly just stayed quiet. I'm not in the business of offending anyone for no good reason.

I've always been an old school brexit-type socialist and never sang our national anthem despite supporting the national team and, for example, being concerned about unchecked immigration like most people etc.

I'm a citizen not a subject. I hate having that ****e forced on us at the football.
Same as when the other one died, just stay on the concourse and let those who like that **** have their moment.

Lots of 7’s across the board today. Dawson MOTM. Stopped Watkins. Stopped Villa.

Thought Kilman was poor. He’s so weak considering his size. Would love to see him dominate more with the ball at his feet and off the ball.

Cunha & Costa are excellent together. That’s why I’d keep Costa. They have a relationship on the pitch that’s just helpful in moments.

Delighted for Neto too.

Yeah, buzzing after that!
Kilman was excellent

Toti, for me is man of the match. His work rate, everything from him was spot on, and it paid off. In relation to the verdict. I reckon we defended well, and it's a shame we didn't get another goal for a 2 goal cushion. Because Aston Villa kept pressing us, and pressing us. Yet all credit to Wolves. Everyone put a shift in, including Neves. To clear the ball, and get it away. I thought Aston Villa, were going down too easily in challenges. Football is a contact sport. I thought it was a bit over the top how Villa were all over Dawson like that. Yet I think Toti ignored it and did the job. I thought the players were focused. I saw more work ethic, more team mentality. I saw more energy and passion. To beat an inform Villa like that. I would say it was a great performance.

If I were Villa, I’d have been seething about there only being 3 minutes added time.

8 subs and a couple of lengthy stoppages. I was thinking it would be at least 6!!
I was expecting six too - there seemed to be audible shock around the ground when it was announced!

Makes up for us being diddled in the same way at home to United!

Brilliant performance full of fight

Dawson lemina neves Cunha semedo extremely good. Everyone writes Semedo off but he always performs

Rest had a great game too . Neto pressing second half was the highlight

Villa are **** really - just have Ollie Watkins!

I know loads of villa, like I do Albion......i know we all have a bit of football banter at times , but my golden rule is match day is off limits to proper fans cause emotions can run high....anyway I never get any aggro from Albion fans......

It's constant off the villa divs ....when I walked out at Wembley after the Watford game my messages taking the **** was none stop off villa divs. ...I thought the didn't care about us.....I wouidnt do it me Albion mates cause by and large they are proper fans .... obviously a few days later we might take the **** ....but villa lot are a special type of divs at times....

Anyway will leave em stewing for a couple of days ....
I don't give any **** to my mates who are real fans of various clubs, they reciprocate.

The **** takers I deal with are no mark arm chair fans of the greedy scum clubs, I can't even be bothered to respond to them.

Liverpool did the good job on that front, but to be fair, should reflect the majority of the crowd and I guess that despite a good chunk of Wolves fans being against the Monarchy there is a larger chunk that are for it, so as such, let em sing their song.
I was slightly annoyed the coronation had to be observed at Molineux, I went to the football to get away from it.

I wonder if they read the full classified results at Buckingham Palace over the PA system? No, thought not. The two things have nothing to do with one another.

It's not a national event either, there's no need to have the national anthem at a league match.

After watching the game today I've got to say I think we need someone like Attwell in our side, the amount of chances he created for the Villa was staggering, just glad they didn't take any, he must have been livid in the dressing room after that one.

Also kudos to the team at the Premier League official match coverage in finding such and even handed and impartial female co-host today, you would never have guessed she was a villa supporter from her totally fair and balanced commentary on today's game.

Yeah that was really odd. I was fully expecting something like 8 minutes to be added and I would have been delighted with 5 so 3 minutes was like "Wow this only usually happens if Liverpool or Man Utd have a one goal lead they are protecting ".
Then I realised that the dippers were in danger of not qualifying for Europe and it suddenly made more sense.

Well I grumble about the obscene amounts of money in football but let’s not forget today’s bit of pomp and circumstance cost between 100m and 250m depending on who you listen too.

That’s 10000 new nurses salaries for a year. Just hold that thought.

It is noteworthy that we've scored 2 goals from corners in 3 games since Ruben started taking them. I don't know the stats for corners before then, but i don't think we have scored from many this season.

Good call from JL (I presume) to put Neves on corner taking duty

Oh, not sure if you've got me wrong but I am against everything and anything it stands for and it'll be a cold day in hell should anything resembling that anthem passing across my lips but I would imagine that it would be a majority at Molineux that would want to do it, just as there is a majority at Anfield who want to boo it. Majority rules and all that, if I was at Liverpool then I'd be booing as much as I could.

He's taken the odd one in the past I think when Moutinho has been off the pitch. But they've always been difficult to defend because of that movement he gets and the dip on the ball, admittedly they're also hard to attack (Toti's header today was brilliant) but they can cause chaos in a box. Shame it's taken six years for him to start taking them regularly and we probably only have three more games of it!

Good you're ok, scummy club and fans whatever our mate @Hot Fuss may claim.
Now, now you thought a lot of them not long ago!

Great result, bang average game not helped by being stopped for any contact at all.

Lamina and Dawson have been our best signings in several years, great again today, bailed us out massively.

I do miss a proper derby though, hope to get Albion in the cup next season, or blues.
