Having sat in the family stand for Brentford, this was the second game my wife and I were taking my 5 year old son to after missing Newcastle because of Covid. I was really stressed about losing badly again, as it could really put him off long-term!

He had decided he wanted to "sit high up" for a game. Getting 3 seats together when you're at the mercy of a virtual queue isn't always easy, but I managed to get one behind another and another a few seats down in the flank of the BW Upper.

I was a but nervous about taking my son elsewhere in the ground to be honest, not because I'm worried about the language (my wife is worse at home!), but because some people don't want children around.

But the people around us couldn't have been more welcoming. Firstly, 4 guys on our row were kind enough to move down one seat so we could all sit closer together.

Then everyone around him was talking to him, high-fiving him and making him feel very welcome during the game.

He thought we were going to get beaten based on league position alone, so when we were the better team, he was very pleasantly surprised.

And I'll never forget his little face when witnessing his first goal! The joy, the shock at the noise, just incredible.

I was carrying him on the way out and so many people either gave him an "Up the Wolves!" or high-fiving him again as they walked past. He was loving every minute and he hasn't stopped telling people about it ever since.

Just so glad his memory of Brentford has been put to bed!

Back in the family stand for Burnley and Liverpool now, but thanks to all in the BW Upper (W9) for making a 5 year-old's day even more special.

udder rubbish.
Good morning all,
West Ham fan here, and I come in peace (honest!).
Had a great day out on Saturday and love going to Molineux , a proper old school stadium.
For what it's worth I thought you were well worth your victory and a 2-0 or even 3-0 victory wouldn't have flattered you, was very impressed with the style of play and the way you went about things.
As fans we tend to self examine our own teams and as such it's hard to judge if we were poor or you were fantastic, I guess you could say that we may have been below par but surely a lot of that has to do with the way you played and nullified our threats. Tactically at least I think you got it spot on, Rice and Soucek were outrun and out thought in midfield and it took Moyes quite a while to work this out and shore it up.
Well done anyway and good luck for the rest of the season, have read this forum with some interest and there are some great posters on here.
Lastly if anyone needs any help with what is now known as mockney rhyming slang then give me a shout, that because I am a real Danny Dyer type ****ney and was only thinking this earlier as I walked down the apples and lemons.
I will keep an eye on this forum and if it's ok with you guys, might pop back now and again for the odd comment here and there.
Take care all, and once again good luck.
(Except when you play us at the bowl).

I must be the only one on this forum not blinkered enough to say he shot, badly sliced it and luckily fell to one of our players.
Still my favourite player to ever put a wolves shirt on.
I only watched motd but that's what it looked like to me.
Only Neves will know for sure. However, if you look at a few periods of play, including the pass in question, from this angle it definitely looks like Neves meant it. He did the same thing at 8:59 in this video, followed by the actual pass around 9:15. Definitely think he did an exquisite pass on purpose.

I was really hoping to get tickets for me & our 6-year-old for the game, and I'm loving reading your comments.

Still waiting for his first Molineux game he is, but it'll come soon I'm sure.

Apologies if this has already been posted - took a look and couldn't see it:

Sa - Saiss - Ait-Nouri - Moutinho - Kilman - Neves - Semedo - Jimenez - Podence - Jimenez - net.
Where on earth were Coady and Hwang? Criminal not getting involved in the build up there ;)

Great to see training moves playing off like that in games, credit to the coaching staff. Repetition and it becomes instinct on the pitch

Great move. Great goal

TY for the informed neutral view on our team from the outside.

I am an honorary Londoner (having lived and worked in the Smoke since the mid-80s, Islington since 1990) who is well and truly a Wolves ST holder. While living in Gooner central I know more than a few Hammers...

They all initially had doubts about Moyes coming back but love what he's doing. He's really got you guys playing well. They all, though, hate the Porno Chuckle Brothers and Mrs Dildo with an absolute passion.

I think it's because we know how good WHU are this season that so many of us are so thrilled with this victory. Our best win of the season.

Possibility more relevant is where on earth were West Ham? Football is so easy when no one lifts a finger to stop you. Look at Declan Rice nonchalantly trotting behind Semedo as if nothing were going on when Semedo pushes to the edge of the West Ham area. Very strange.
