Emery would be my first choice but doubt he would be interested in a relegation battle.

Suspect he will be looking at somewhere he can further redeem his reputation after the Arsenal fiasco. Wouldn't surprise me to see him at Liverpool if/when they sack Klopp or Atleti.

If Guo is going to back him we dont have to be in a battle. It is too early in the season for that and a good manager can turn it around. A few good signings and reinvigorating some other players and we will pick up enough points to be at least middle table.
Then next season could see those lovely fruits begin to ripen.
